An Excellent Staple For The Cold Weather

Comfortable, cozy and a very cute print. I love these longjohns.

Great Base Layers!

Love Smartwool base layers. Very soft and worm. Used these skiing and when camping in colder weather and they work great.

Best Merino Pants In The Business

These are classic tried and true, warm as heck baselayer pants. The wool is soft and stretchy. I’ve worn other pairs for many seasons all winter long as a ski patroller and winter athlete. They are excellent for both the resort and long backcountry days. Not worth docking a star but I’d wish they’d thicken the rise of the waist band maybe a half an inch higher all around. As someone with an athletic body type with smaller waist and wide hips/thick glutes/thighs, it’d be nice to have that tiny extra bit of coverage without having to hike them up here and there and then have them be tight in the crotch.

100% As Advertised

A friend convinced me to try Merino wool for my cold weather outdoor adventures. 10/10. Does everything as advertised. Warm, moisture wicking, odor free up to FOUR days. I will be buying a lot Smartwool.

Great For Camping

These kept me so warm while camping! I wore these for 3 nights of low 40F temperatures using a sleeping quilt with a silk liner and did not feel cold at all. These kept me dry and warm.

They Are A Great Color

They are a great color and the fit is true to size. I found them scratchier than the pair that I had purchased in 2015, which is a little disappointing as someone who is quite sensitive to wool.. The other pair I have (which I wear almost daily during New England winters) are not scratchy in the slightest. Not sure what that could be about..

Cozy And Warm!

Love these thermals for skiing. They are comfortable to wear all day long and keep me the perfect temperature.

Perfect Fit And Very Warm

Fits perfectly and it very soft. I haven’t tried it on yet for the cold, as it’s still pretty warm in Alaska right now. My husband has a base layer from Smartwool too and tried them lasr year and was very happy with them, so I’m sure they’ll serve me well.

The Best Long Johns

Super comfy and warm! I’ve had my first pair for four years, wearing them just about every other day in winter, and they just got their first little hole. So, quite a sturdy garment considering how fine the fabric is. Happy to have a new pair in black.

Smartwool Is My Favorite ❤️

I love Smartwool base layers. The tops have cute designs and you can get matching bottoms. I wear the tops like a regular sweater with jeans in the winter and have received several compliments. We recently went to Antarctica and the base layer tops and bottom were light to pack and also warm and comfortable to wear. 👍🏻😊

Lifesaver For Cold New England Living

Super pleased with the fit and comfort of these WARM ""long johns. "" I bought a solid top first then got the pants that went with the green top. They stay in place, fit great. I am on the larger size than usual (thanks, Menopause!), so I went for an XL and they fit perfectly. In addition to these, I own several socks, They wear like iron and keep me toasty warm on even the coldest New England days.
