Great Bike Tube Patches

I bought the Slime SKABS Bike Tube patches to replace old dried out patches in my bike emergency kit. I used one to seal a leak in a blow up camping pillow and it worked great! Very versatile product.

Did Not Seal Leaks.

I applied the patches as per the instructions to pinhole leaks on two tubes. Neither stopped the leak. These are road bike tires filled to 115lbs.

Not very effective where a seam is present. Attached the patch as instructed and air escaped.

It works well and it doesn't have to use clue or anything that could cause an extra mess.

Solid Patch

These patches are easy to apply and are doing the job so far (a month in and a few rides). Cheaper than replacing the tube and more environmentally friendly way to get back riding.

While I haven't needed to use these yet, I know they'll work when I need them, and they're perfect to keep in a bike bag to quickly fix a flat

Worst Product Ever

Don’t waste your money on this patch. I follow the directions on the instructions label and it failed every time, by the time I mounted the tire it was completely flat again. So do yourself a favor and buy a new tube with that money and don’t waste it on this patches.

Worthless For High Pressure Tires

These may work at pressures commonly used in mtn bike or children's bike tires, but forget it if you're planning to apply these to higher pressure road bike tires. I have tried a half dozen of these on 700c tires in which I run 90-95 psi, and every one has failed before I could even get the bike out for a ride. I follow the application instructions to a tee, and they fail almost immediately regardless. The failure typically occurs somewhere between 2 minutes and a couple hours, and always involves development of a straight, tiny channel between the puncture and the edge of the patch.

This did not work. It immediately leaked. I would not recommend. Just buy a new tube... which I had to do
