Great Updates For A Great Tent!

The switch to silpoly was a great decision and I hope the trend continues with more tent companies. Several other updates include deeper bathtub floors, the ribbon quyouts are now cordage and the peak was redesigned as well. All great upgrades for a great tent. My only gripe is that the design doesn’t allow the seams to be factory sealed…maybe a future version. Until then I don’t think there’s a better tent for the price on the market. Two thumbs up

Excited About This Tent...

So far so good. After I seam sealed it, I set this tent up in my backyard and left it up overnight during a heavy thunderstorm with lots of wind and rain. It performed like a champ. Stayed reasonably taught and dry as a bone. I haven't used this in the field yet. Will be hiking the AT at GSNP in a few weeks. Can't wait to use it for real.

Great Tent For Bigger People.

I've been looking for a tent that was super light weight, yet big enough on the inside for a taller person and gear. Well I found it. For the weight, this thing is palatial. I sometimes splurge on backpacking trips with my 80x30" pad, because A. It fits and B. I've saved so much weight with my tent, I don't feel guilty bringing this.
