Just bought this and wore it as a base layer under an old fishing shirt while casting for striped bass off Montauk on a windy day in October. First thing in the morning I put it on with the hoodie up, then put the fishing shirt on, so the hoodie was outside the shirt and usable. It worked great. I started the morning with a windbreaker as a third layer, which eventually came off. I actually bought this hoodie thinking to use it as a single layer for trout fishing with my (Simms) fly fishing vest on top and look forward to doing that.
