Packs down super small and dried very quickly after the initial wash

The tek towel is amazing!!! I brought it on a 8 day Kilimanjaro summit and used it every day. It was so cold on the mountain and I needed to dry as quickly as possible. The tea towel literally dries on the first swipe, you don’t need to make a second pass. I love it so much in going to buy more just to use at home!

I guess I wasn’t really happy with this purchase at all. The size I ordered for the price didn’t seem to match. It was way too expensive for what the price was that I paid. Also, it wasn’t absorbent at all. It was tiny and basically was just just as a face drying towel and a hair wrap that didn’t cover all of my hair. I was disappointed in the size for the money. Not the greatest quality.

It really dries you, clings as you use it. Takes longer to dry than I anticipated. Very light weight

I used this towel for a hike that involved waterfall swim holes. I needed a towel, but I also needed something lightweight. I’m 5’0 123 pounds and this towel was the perfect size for me. It easily folds back up into the case. It didn’t take up much space at all. For a normal size person, I’d recommend the XL size. If you enjoy the outdoors, but need a lighter load to carry, this towel is a great option.

I am now the happy owner of three Tek Towels (size large). One I've had for around five years; two are new. (I regret waiting so long before I ordered more.) The large size has been perfect for my needs (travel, work in the field and office, and gym); it packs small. Also, its soft, asborbant, and dries fast. Highly recommended. Perfect to keep in your vehicle, desk, locker, etc.

This is hands-down the best camp towel I’ve ever purchased. The texture is so good: soft but you can still use it to scrub a little. It actually absorbs water, and FAST, unlike other camp towels that just move water around. I will probably keep using it at home too. I bought the XL which is big enough to wrap around me (I’m a size 16 so that is not the case with most towels). Very light weight and drys quickly. Worth every single penny.

This towel is great for camping, hiking, etc -- not sure about backpacking given the size/box-y ness of the container. It really came in handy during my camping trip to Yellowstone. It comes with a tab that makes it easy to hang up, which is efficient for drying the towel after its been washed or in general. I happened to catch some trout during my trip to Yellowstone, and was able to use one of the towels to support the cooking process. Afterwards I used my sea to summit sink to wash the towel, and hung it up to dry so that it could be used for other purposes.

After spending a couple of weeks in Ukraine with one towel, I’m glad I brought this one with me. If you got the space, buy the more bulky one as the lightest weight one is like drying off with a piece of suede. That being said, the bulky, softer towels by sea to summit didn’t disappoint. It dried quick and soaked up all the water I could shake at it.

The extra large is a good size. The towel folds down into its case so it is reasonably small and easy to pack. It soaks up a lot of water and yet dries quickly. And it does not have that scratchy microfiber feel. Bought one for myself and one for my son for our high adventure trip to Alaska. We both enjoyed our towels and their packability.

the size & texture is worth the premium price. Ask yourself if you want comfy & absorbant this is the product. Spend the etra few bucks. You won't regret it.
