I didn't get a chance to use it yet, but it takes up very little space in my backpack. I wanted a metal scoop that didn't take up space. This fit the bill. Only thing I find as a negative is the cap to the storage in the handle is tricky to open.

Love this trowel, I roll up a mini-roll of backup TP in the handle. I've actually owned this for 10 years. I've been replacing my gear with lighter materials and it occurred to me that this could possibly be mad of titanium, the trowel is heavy (relatively) and it didn't make the cut in my latest weight assessment because it's not "essential" and weighs too much. I'd love to see a titanium version of this.

Way lighter than my old entrenching tool/poop shovel! Love the little storage space in the handle! Great design :)

I never got a chance to use my new Alloy Pocket Trowel. When I attempted to extend the handle, it fell apart. It’s so poorly made that I can’t fix it without it almost immediately falling apart again.
