I’ve been wearing the Saucony Guide series since 2021, starting with the Guide 16, and the Guide 18 continues to be exceptional. The support is outstanding — truly unmatched for my needs. I’ve had ankle surgery and have implants, and my ankle tends to buckle outward. This shoe prevents that completely. It gives me the stability and confidence I need, whether I’m walking, standing all day, or running. I literally wear these everywhere, all the time. They ground me. Not The Same As The 17 😢
I have worn the Guide 17 for well over 1.5 years. I love the 17! Best shoe I have ever owned! The 18’s are NOT the same shoe. This has been so unfortunate…18’s are so stiff, not near as cushioned as the 17’s. Not flexible, no rocker or movement to them. I really wish I could buy another Guide 17… Hoping for the Guide 19 to be back the way it was 💔
