Fantastic Daily Runner - Comfort, Stable, Aware

My Ride 18s have been a fantastic pair of runners. I’ve had them for just shy of a month and have logged a modest 30km on them ranging from longer duration zone 2, to tempo, and Vo2 max runs. They’ve been great throughout all of those runs. I’m 35, 215lbs, have a history of low back injuries, and used to run in minimal-style shoes. The cushion of the Ride 18 is comfortable without detracting from my underfoot awareness, and the stability is great. These shoes are very accommodating for a mid-foot to toe strike running style and would likely do well for heel strikers too. The toe box is a bit narrower than some of the brands known for high-cushioning but I haven’t found an issue with my wider than normal foot. The fit is a bit longer with my size 10 being about 1/2” longer than other brands in the same size, this isn’t a deal breaker but something to be aware of if you plan on taking these into some semi-technical terrain (even though they aren’t meant for that).

The Ride 18’s Were An Amazing Experience!

I was looking for a pair of shoes that would be cushioned just right for me because I had dealt with some running injuries in some previous years, these ones were and instant favorite for me! These ones gave me just enough cushion to feel really good and comfortable but also were versatile enough for many of my tempo runs as well! These shoes were great for me!

No Complaints At All

These are by far my fav shoes ever. Extremely durable and comfortable. And they also look great. Will be hard to try any other shoes for awhile.
