Disappointed By Inaccurate Photos
I was really excited to learn of the new Hurricane 25 and purchased quickly. I have been running in the Hurricane 24's and one of my biggest (if not only) complaints was that the tongue slips to the outside of the shoe pretty quickly into each run and won't stay put in the middle causing some discomfort. The photos online of the Hurricane 25 show a tongue stay loop that I really valued. I received my 25's in the mail and unboxed them to learn that the tongue stay loop isn't there at all... After watching some review videos for the 25's, I noticed there are no tongue stay loops on any of the 25's I've seen. So while I'm still waiting on Saucony Support's response, I'm not confident the photos of these shoes are accurate. Also, with the Shadow/ViZi colorway I got, the outsole of the shoe is actually yellow/orange (like the Guide 18) and not solid orange like the photos show. This is only minor to me but confirms my suspicion about the accuracy of the photos. The tongue stay loop is definitely a bummer, hopefully Saucony will sort it out but I wanted to make sure other buyers are aware in case anyone has similar affinities for a tongue stay loop!

Not My Cup Of Tea
This is the first shoe review I've written in more that 50 years of running and hundreds of pairs of shoes. A long time devotee of Saucony--most recently theTriumph series--I had to switch to Brooks Glycerins after the most recent Triumph models did nothing but give me chronic blisters. In a fit of nostalgia I ordered the Hurricanes based on the promise of "max cushioning". After an easy four miles, the sock on the heel of my left foot was soaked in blood , and my of right achilles sported a quarter sized blister (and trust me, the fit was perfect))> Moreover although the forefoot of the shoe was reasonably soft, the mid and rear foot " cushioning was more than firm. A mid-foot striker, I can only describe the ride as jarring.

Great For High Mileage Runners
Got these a few weeks ago and rotated them in with my endorphin speed 4s and now i catch myself only wanting to wear these. Put 12 in yesterday on them and woke up and did 4 more feeling fresh, these shoes are great for putting in lots of miles.

My Knees Are In Love
A definite goer, cushioned, responsive and subtle stability. My knees feel like they want to propose to them. Unlike many max or near max cushion shoes these don't slow you down and make you feel like you are fighting the shoe, the heel is cushioned yet resilient. Already got a second pair. At 65 these are great. I run about 18-30 miles most weeks mixed with walking. I use other footwear for gym work. Perhaps next years has a 2-4 mm top layer of power run hg...
