Good But Not Perfect

Decided to buy these as my camp shoes since they're quite easy to slip on and off. They're pretty comfortable but the balls of feet started hurting a little bit after a full day of wear. Feet will also get quite warm since they are gortex.

Wear Out Of The Box

This pair of trail runners required no break in period and were ready to wear right out of the box. My feet are blister prone and I can’t wear just anything on my feet. These shoes are quite comfortable yet have some trail protection. They aren’t super rigid like some trail runners I’ve had but you don’t feel every stone either. Salomon’s are my favorite trail runner and hiking boots preference. I have a pair of La Sportiva’s that are decent but prefer these.

Very Sturdy, Not So Comfortable

Great durability, but they are not comfortable for long hikes. They seem narrow, and the heel is super rigid - not much cushion. I was hoping for a more comfortable ride. They do hold your feet in tight if that is your preference.

Can't Get The Sizing Right - Bad Toe Bang

I got some other Salomon's two years ago in size 11 that fit great. Now, I got these in 11, too big (my foot was floating inside), so I got a 10.5 and went for hike. The toe on these shoes is hard, not giving like other hiking shoes. My toes are bruised and there is bruising up into my foot. I'm afraid I might loose my toenail. The size is all off. I can't return them, either. So, might work for others, but watch the size and know the toe is not forgiving.

Great Shoes!

I bought these shoes a month ago for Coachella and I love them! I bought them and wore them to work to break them in for Coachella but they were so comfortable I didn’t even have to break them in. Now that Coachella has passed I am going to use them for work! The only thing I would change is make the show strings longer. I have a wide foot and the shoes fit comfortably but I have to stretch it to the end of the shoe string. There is a lot of room in the toe part of the shoes. I will be buying more of these shoes

X Ultra Wearer

I have worn X Ultra for years for daily walking, work, and hiking. I have a narrow pronating feet. A Pro V9 fits much wider and it no longer works for me. Please bring back a fit similar to X Ultra 3.

I bought a pair of the Solomon hiking shoes at the gift store in Hilo Hawaii. I needed a pair of shoes for a hike I was going on and I fell in love with these. I wore them completely out and I had to buy a new pair I love the quick lace and the waterproof. They’re great for your adventures in Hawaii, especially on the big island. It rains a lot there and the super grip bottom helps tremendously . Especially when you’re hiking volcanoes national park . You can see my old pair and my new pair. I love these shoes.
