I’m really enjoying these Ultra Glide’s! The cushioning helps absorb some impact but I like that you still get that road feel and responsiveness. Great fit too, very true to size. I’ve taken them on trail as well as gravel roads and very happy with the performance on both. Thank you for a great shoe Salomon!

As a walking shoe, this shoe was very comfortable, supportive, and cushioned and I could easily walk in them all day. The lacing system at first appeared flimsy but it works!! They’re super light but durable.

So comfortable, so stable, so grippy! Absolutely loved them

I went with this shoe due to the cushioning and wide toe box. The cushion is nice - enough to cushion my knees, but not too much where the shoe feels mushy. The toe box is wide causing me to size down a 1/2 size for a better fit. I do recommend sizing down 1/2 size. The shoe is stable and allows me to feel the trail, but not the rocks and roots. If you need a bit more cushioning with a wider toe box, this is the shoe for you. I love the Speedcross, but it is so tight across my mid foot I can't wear it much. This shoe also transitions to road or paved trail well, though probably not an everyday shoe for that.

It is not wide enough was disappointed. I have a high instep this is a problem. Wore it 2x sides were pinching my ankle.

The good: I have done big distances on it and it feels great. Good support and enough grip. Wouldn’t recommend it for too technical trails or very muddy ones, but it’s a good all around shoe. The bad: While the shoe has a good level of cushioning for those big adventurous runs, it feels a bit heavy in my opinion. The ugly: Why on earth you created that horrible lacing system?!? Seriously You had such a great one with the sense ultra pro. This one is just not functional at all. It’s annoying to an point you want to rip the thing off. Every time I lace them up, the struggle starts to put them into that tiny mesh pocket while the laces are covering the entry, making it a game of pulling and stretching. Zero points for that. Sorry!

First time buyer of a trail shoe! Love it so comfortable and great on the trails. Although I did need to go down 1/2 a size.

Excellent lightweight trail shoe. Very comfortable and great on different terrain. Good looking shoe too and love the colour.

They are great shoes. However the piece of fabric that you tuck the lacing system under, is difficult to use. The top laces cover this area. So it’s not possible to tuck the plastic lace component under the fabric . On other Salomon shoes, this isn’t a problem. So a little disappointed about this .

Great shoe! Super comfortable and grippy when on dirt trails and scrambling through the bush. I find the laces great - I read a review that someone didn’t like the pull laces but I love them. Easy and supportive. I’d recommend this shoe.

They are a general running shoe, I could not fault them for that but the sizing is a little large, the tread is good and noticeably different, def not for flat surfaces. The lace system is annoying as I cannot get the ends tucked in. Support on middle of foot is brilliant. Ple ty of toe space but not much support at back of foot. Would I buy again? Probably not and would try look for a salamon with more support.
