Good Shoe But Runs Small

Good lightweight trail runner or casual shoe, but sizing runs small. I wore a 9 1/2 size for a day while walking around Malaga Spain, noting it felt tight the whole time, and found a badly injured toenail at the end of the day. I've subsequently purchased a simple tool to measure inside length of shoes, and found these measured smaller than several other Salomon 9 1/2's that I own. I've read some reviews that indicate that others have experienced smaller sizes in some models than they have bought previously - suggesting result of changing factories/suppliers.

Salomon Speedcross 6 Trail Shoes

Best trail shoes ever, excellent grip on dirt, snow, mud, whatever, BUT! I wish the front two tread knobs were removed. I've fallen after snagging the front of the shoe on low-lying protruding roots or rocks. I believe removing the front two rubber treads will help keep my shoes from snagging onto rocks and roots. I admit I don't lift my feet high enough at times, but it's how I run.

Well Received 18th Birthday Present

These trainers were a birthday present for my 18yr old son & he informed me that they are the most comfortable trainers he has had, He said he has had lots of good comments about them, with friends also having them & the fact they are waterproof is fantastic & will definitely be buying more.

Iconic product. Fantastic shoe for running and daily wear. Huge help with plantar fasciitis.
