These are my daily kicks. Not ideal for flat, hard surfaces or ice but amazing on any natural terrain. Very pleased with durability and will continue buying speedcross.

The trail shoes are just as advertised. Extremely comfortable! Perfect fit! I knew it was a great purchase from the the first step I took!

By far, the best footwear ever designed. My only complaint is that they don't have all the cool colors in size 14wide. I'm still happy with the grey. But I have some many pair of them, I have to compare the treads to see which sneaker goes with each other.

I bought these shoes so that I could have happy get again. I'm happy to report that they have done just that. I do wish the toe box was wider. My pinkie toe has be been a bit cramped. Also, everyone at work keeps complementing me on how great they look.

I enjoy trail running but also participate in spartan races throughout the year. I ran my first Spartan with these yesterday and I was blown away. They gripped the uneven terrain without an issue (my friend rolled his ankle dozens of time, I didn’t once). There was even a 45° mud wall that everyone else there was struggling to get up and I was able to simply walk up it with these shoes. They were also light, easy and comfortable to run in, dried quickly and cleaned off well. I never write reviews but this is the first time I can confidently say this piece of equipment vastly improved my experience compared to the races I’d run previously. I’m curious how they hold up over time but they feel extremely durable and I expect them to champion me through many races / runs in the future!

I have been using Speed cross wide Salamon shoes for so many years. The latest one is model 6. I am very happy with this brand of shoes and will continue using it. I am hoping that Salamon does not discontinue this model of trail running shoes.

I can always rely on the performance of the shoe as it is light weight and the grip is outstanding. I can confidently run on rough terrain with no doubt.

I've now bought 3 pairs of these in the past year. I do a lot of hiking, extreme creek scrambles at elevation...mostly hard granite. These shoes are light, comfortable, super grippy, and dry quickly. I had a foot injury that would not get better until I switched to these shoes. They are now the only shoes I wear and my foot started healing within the first few months (with some icing) without me having to cut back or cut down on frequency or length of my hikes. I freaking love these shoes. Yes, narrow toebox get the wides. Quick lace works great, does require some re-sinching as you hike and shoe loosens. Doesn't bother me, tradeoff is worth the convenience of the easy/tie/slip-on feature. And yes the soles may wear out quicker than most. They are like high-performance tires, super sticky and wear out quicker. It's a tradeoff, maybe it's not for you but I'll pay for the extra performance and comfort. Now go out and get some! (nature that is).

I’ve had these shoes for about a month and have been trying to compare them to some other shoes (ASICS, Altra and Salomon boot) I’ve purchased recently. I’ve been looking to find a shoe that works for hiking trails and admittedly I do not plan to use these shoes for trail running. So far I have only put 30 trail miles on them so I can’t speak to durability. Although I always take shoe fit in a review as a very subjective opinion I will say I found these shoes to be comfortable and true to size right out of the box. On the trail they are noticeably lightweight and have great grip/traction when ascending and descending. The shoe feels solid on flat surfaces and grippy in the rocks (although you will feel the rocks through the sole). Where I found the shoe to be lacking is the first time I stepped off the trail on a side hill. These shoes had very little stability on a side slope and my foot just rolled to the down hill side of the low side foot. I have found this to be a consistent issue every time I’ve worn the shoes, so be prepared when stepping off trail to let people by. While I realize these shoes are not intended for chukar hunting or serious side hilling, just be aware they will serve you best if you stay on well used paths.
