I know Salomon likes there shoe lace system but would recommend to them to provide regular laces. On pavement the tread is obviously not as comfortable. Nice wide shoe. Please expand your wide options in footwear.

I want to hype this shoe up. I really do. The traction is pretty amazing, the lugs are good in wet grass and mud. The fit is off. I have wide feet but these ended up being to wide. I have no lateral support even with the laces pulled as tight as possible. I originally ordered the XA PRO 3D V9 WIDE GORE-TEX and it was obscenely tight. I returned them and ordered these a half size up. Now less than 3 weeks into wear they are regulated to yard shoes- just to cut the grass.

Has been really comfortable on some longer 20 mile runs and has performed great on some really muddy slippery runs.

I absolutely LOVE these shoes. They are the only ones I’ve found that can really grip the rocks effectively. They gave me the confidence to tackle technical climbs in complete comfort. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a secure feel on tough terrain.

Great for trails, hiking and yard work! Comfortable and grippy!

I started with Speedcross 4 many years ago for mountain trail running. I had to transition to a shoe with much more cushioning for hard running because of my joints, but continued to use the 4's and then 5's for everyday trail walking and use. The lacing system and minimal toe provide a unique and comfortable fit for my feet, which are somewhat narrow. I finally decided to part with my beloved speedcrosses this year (see pic!) and after some shopping decided on - a new Speedcross 6!

I love Solomon shoes. I've been wearing them consistently for almost 20 years. I have been a big fan of the Speedcross series, and recently bought the Speedcross 6. For the first month, which I put on 150 miles of urban hiking, the shoes were incredible! Super comfy, and I felt like they were driving me forward with each step. But, the souls quickly wore out, and my steps became very flat. So within one month, the shoes are completely worn out. I weigh 150 lb, so my weight should not be an issue. Typically, I am getting 300 to 450 mi (3 months) out of the previous Speedcross shoes. I had to order the Speedcross 5 to replace them. I do not recommend the speedcross 6. But I highly recommend the speedcross 5.
Hey check me out
I bought the wide and realized I can wear the regular width. My first pair was the anniversary pair. More colors please. Would love to see this in brown or burgundy. Great alternative to xt-6! Went tts after trying half size up and the wide version! Narrow and held in mean different things. I can wear these shoes with the quicklace undone and slip em on and off. Definitely worth it and I wear them as an everyday shoe.

I have three versions of the Salomon Speedcross 6 shoes. They are very comfortable, stylish and true to their size. I look forward to buying future Speedcross 6 versions when they become available.

I wanted to wait a few months to review and now with summer approaching, I have found the only negative aspect - they don’t breathe too well. I’ve been wearing consistently for weeks bc the Speed Cross 6 are super lightweight while providing tremendous support (and with speed laces to boot!). They look cool too. Overall, these are a 4.5/5 until they add some side vents then a 5/5.

I've been buying the speedcross line for quite a few years now. They are extremely comfortable and fit better than anything else I've ever bought previously. I'm not using them for performance, but more of an everyday work shoe. I'd give them a 5 out of 5 rating if you would stop printing the SpeedCross 6 logo over the top of the shoe. I've done my best to buy the older versions when I can find them (Speedcross 3) since they don't have this logo issue, but it doesn't appear that they are available any longer.

this is my third pair of Speedcross shoes and i am sure i will be buying a fourth. The traction and stability is awesome. I have done over 50 laps up and down Prairie Mountain in the past 3 years and almost all on Speedcross, even the winter ascents.

Great shoe that provides perfect support and durability.

These are my favorite every day shoe. I have owned at least 10 pairs and will continue to purchase them as long as they are available.

I originally bought trail shoe to run and hike the trails in my area but by accident I realized how comfortable they are for the office. I am on my feet for hours at a time and my feet feel great at the end of a 11-hour day.
