Wide has generous toe box. Fits like 2E. Love Quicklaces. Pocket for tie ends is a nice touch. Tongue could be longer.

Excellent Traction

I have worn the speedcross for 2 years now and absolutely love them. The laces are super quick and the sole grip is steady in any terrain. After putting hundreds of miles on these shoes I am ready for the new model with goretex. I do suggest getting one half size bigger, especially for downhill terrain!

We keep checking Salomon again looking for SPEEDCROSS WIDE in more colors Please bring back Green and Ashes of Roses Can't see ourselves wearing any other brand than the SPEEDCROSS WIDE series but finding them in stock as availability is the only problem! If Salomon stops offering and stocking Men's and Women's SPEEDCROSS WIDE shoes we will have to go barefoot after all our pairs wear out! Salomon please make more!
