Good Stuff

Wore these shoes for short and long hikes. Also Completed a 5k run in the woods over some small rocks, tree roots and mud. Shoe held up well, dried quickly and provided good stability. Of course the shoe looks sharp too. I think a 5k or 10K might be the max distance cushion wise for me. I felt feet fatigue 30 minutes after the race while I remained on scene and walked around some flat ground. Overall, good purchase for me.

Exactly What I Needed

I needed a shoe that would give me good traction in grass and good foot control while working my dog. The SpeedCross worked perfectly. Fit is true to size, maybe slightly snug so if you are looking for a lot of toe room half size up. Well done Salomon

Very Comfortable On Any Surface

I have worn these for two weeks now. I'm a truck driver and they work great for grip getting in and out of the truck. On and off with a breeze with the lace system. I walk 3 to 5 miles in the morning before I start my day and I wear these when the weather permits here in the midwest. This is my second pair, first pair is just showing wear on the outside bujt still going strong. I do wear them for trail walking with gear and great traction there as well.

Love My New Speedcross 6's!

I needed new shoes for USPSA competition (if you know, you know). Explosive movement in any direction, on gravel, dirt or sometimes sand, dry or wet -- all while manipulating upper body positions. I needed something with grip and support for the ankles. These fit the bill! With the Gore-Tex they keep me dry, and I can literally hose them off after. Love'em!
