Great Color But Too Big

Reviews say to size up but I ordered my husbands regular size and it was way too big. We need to size down

Quality And Durability

I think these boots are awesome, so far. I have had them for about 1 year, however, the majority of the time I used them for driving my side by side and when I was off-roading. I did not put the boots through rough terrain hikes, or through harsh element conditions and the tip of the boot, the rubber that comes up from the sole started coming apart on 1 boot only. I have used them for camping, at the sand dunes, but never submerged, and did a little hiking but nothing too extreme. I'm a heavy set guy, 6'01" weighing 285lbs, and the boots are awesome, just the fact that the tip of the boot separated from the boot itself. Other than that, the boots are comfortable, nice and secure fit, light and flexible boot, sturdy though, which is nice.

Recommended Comfortable Long Lasting

Used for 1.5 years, most comfortable hiking boots I have ever owned. Typically used several times a week for cross country dog hikes. Good quality with zero defects to date. Shoe lace fastening system works well for me.

Solid Boot But…

The boot is light and fits well - concerns about how the tongue will last trudging through brush and thickets it hasn’t failed yet but have been babying them. - fails- the laces that came with the boots were 6-8” too short.

Great Buy

I bought these 3 weeks ago and have since put over 50 miles on them without any blisters, discomfort or doubts. That’s Including 20mi in one day. They are solid, super comfortable, have ample grip and hearty construction. I’m pleased.

Exceptional, As Always.

Almost perfect. Salomon is my first choice for hiking boots every two years. Yes, I would prefer the soles to be a little more durable, which could be achieved by placing slightly more cleats at the center of the front part. Nevertheless: perfect fit, perfect comfort, perfect weight, and perfect look. Exceptional.

Very Comfortable

I wear these shoes for hunting and they are very comfortable while keeping my feet warm and dry

Super

I recently picked up the Salomon Gore TeX for my weekend hikes in the Pacific Northwest, and I’ve been seriously impressed after putting about 40 miles on them across rocky trails, muddy paths, and a few stream crossings. Here’s my take after a few weeks of use. Comfort: These boots feel like a dream right out of the box. They’re super lightweight—barely over 1.8 pounds for my size 10 men’s pair—which makes long hikes feel less tiring. The cushioning is solid for day hikes, with a soft collar that hugs my ankles nicely. That said, on a 15-mile trek with a 30-pound pack, my feet felt a bit beat up on rocky sections. Swapping the stock insole for a cushier one helped a ton, so keep that in mind if you’re planning long hauls.

Uncomfortable

I experienced shin pain after the first hour of hiking. The pain was intolerable.

Not Comfortable

Following my initial hike, I experienced severe pain in my shins, although I felt fine during the first hour of the hike.

Works For Me...

These boots have been the best I have had for training with a pack on and climbing up hills. I have not had a boot have better traction even if the trail was wet. I have had a lot fewer slips than with previous boots.

Quest Element Hiding Boots

Excellent boots that provide the support, traction and padding [ need while hiking. I wore them on the Summit challenge to hiking 16 miles up to 9400 feet with a 500p foot elevation gain. Great product.

Great Boot - Totally Waterproof!

I have had this in my boat a couple times and with the water levels this year I have gotten to the very top of the boot in the water while pushing the boat out from the beach. Completely dry foot inside the boot.. Also, the boot is very light and still has good support. I have not used this on an extensive hiking trip.

Awesome Hiking Boots

I bought the boots about a month ago and at first they were tight around the ball of my foot. I got a boot stretch to widen them a little and now they are perfect. I love them great support and no slipping forward in the boots on downhill descents. Highly recommend them

Hiker’s Choice

Great grip, sliddown a steep hillside and the grip saved me when I was falling. Hiked decent distances 6miles, no feet issues. Went into a mud puddle knee high, my socks were dry. Easy to wash by hand.
