Please Bring Back A Wider Fit!

My favourite pair of light boots. I've had only two pairs of the older Quests, because the last on the 4D got changed to a narrower fit and I can no longer wear the newer versions. Years ago, I bought the last pair of size 12 Quest 3s for sale on the planet (ordered them from someone in Russia over eBay). Please (please) offer them in a wide version. They are my go-to for early season hunting, military exercises, and search & rescue. Though I've been babying my last pair, I'm going to need a new pair soon!

Shockingly Bad Craftsmanship

I had two pairs of boots fail. The sole tore in one pair and a shoelace eyelet came off a second pair. To their credit, Salomon warrantied both. But I have never had issues like this before with Merrell, Vasque, or Kayland.

Durable Hiking Shoes

Durable gore Tex hiking shoes. Originally bought these because a friend of mine had a pair he had heavily used for 5+ years hiking and hunting. And with the price of most quality boots it was good to see how well they held up over time. Great boots that break in well and give great ankle support even on rocky terrain under heavy load.

One Of My Favorites Products, Salomon Is Awesome

Even tho cause all the usage, work, hiking daily use, still looking awesome

Not Waterproof

Disappointing really as for the heavy price tag and Salomon brand name you’d expect better kit. Bought as a last minute replacement for some Berghaus boots Id worn through prior to a week in the Lake District. Luckily it didn’t rain all week and the boots were fantastic for walking in the good weather over rough terrain, very comfortable and no hotspots or breaking in straight out the box. However, wore them in the rain for around 45 minutes of road walking for the first time and both socks soaked on arrival home. Disappointing for the money they cost.
