I got these to replace some asolo fugitives that got turn up in a motorcycle crash. I’ve been wearing the asolos for a long time but they lack traction in even the slightest amount of moisture. I’ve worn these now on several aoudad hunts in New Mexico, a deer hunt in Arizona, and Mexico, and several quail hunts as well. They’re great in the rocks and when climbing loose gravelly terrain, and are way more “grippy” than my asolos in the rain and at a fraction of the weight. These boots are not super durable though. The main structure of them is fine but laces barely lasted a month, the seams around the top of the tongue started to fail shortly after the laces and the edges of the soles have taken a beating. That being said I’m still wearing them almost daily and just returned from a weekend trip to the Grand Canyon in them. Wish they were tougher but have been all around happy with them
