I'm a professional conflict photographer & documentary photojournalist and my Iron Rangers have faithfully taken me from downtown or downrange and back again. I've been wearing the same pair for almost a decade and trust my life to them in every environment. They're like shaking hands with an old friend. Highly recommend.

The tennis shoe industry is killing my feet. Sneakers nowadays? They are like wearing slippers. So here is what just happened with me!! About two weeks ago I bought size 8.5 in some other boot I remember wearing as a kid, and you know what? I returned them because they have dropped off a quality cliff. I then tried that boot's sister brand but those things were so narrow. I tried a pair of fashion boots that look just like these boots and omg big mistake had to return them. Finally I give up and its "ok, I will just spend the money on these boots." Yeah, you know what? These boots are comfortable. They fit. The leather is nicer than the other three boots I mentioned. The only reason I am giving a four star on quality is this is the first day I have owned these. but I'm not returning them. I'm keeping them. I like them. They are comfy, they seem really nicely made. I love the color, I got the amber ones. Cannot stress how much this Iron Ranger boot feels "comfy" on my feet. Which I find strange given the shoes history is for mining, but whatever, I am not going to overthink that
