    Great Value

I had my eye on a less expensive kayak and was still thinking about it. I liked this one but decided to save some money. When I made up my mind, I found that this one was on sale. So glad I changed my mind! Nice kayak, handles well. I love it!

Great But Terrible Seat Clip Design

Very good kyak, but only giving 4 stars because the seat clips continuously snap off. I don't understand how they thought that would be a good design. They could have at least added more surface area to the hook. Terrible design on the clip.

    Great First Kayak

I bought this for recreational paddling as a beginner kayaker, and I am very happy with the stability, weight capacity, and construction of the craft. It’s very easy to control and get in/out of and not too heavy to carry. My only complaint is the seat needed replacing after my first trip down some river rapids, but other than that it’s a comfortable ride and made well. love the color of the boat (Aurora Fusion) and the price was good. Definitely will recommend this as a good beginners kayak!

    Our First Kayaks

Overall we are very happy with this kayak. It is a good entry level kayak. The only small issue I have is one of the seat buckles keeps coming loose.

Good Kayak Except For The Seat Clips, Can Be Fixed

nice kayaks. Yes, the seat clips suck. mine are fine, my wife s left side clip came off our first trip out, poor injection molding on that part. there is a fix, i ran a wire tie (plastic tie wrap) through the two parts of the clip. its a tight fit but with a little effort you can feed it through. When the seat works, its really comfortable. would have given 5 stars but for the clips.

    Great Lake Kayak

We previously owned an inflatable kayak and it sprung a leak. ha! New purchase...Quest Passage 100 Kayak. I love the color and ease of paddling. It has a nice backrest and I appreciate the variable foot rests. Great purchase!

    Simple, Light And Stable

My family got into kayaking about a month ago. I bought this kayak for my nephew who is 19 and he love it! It is very stable and light weight. We took it out to a small river that has light class I and II rapids, it maneuvered with ease. It has enough room on the back for him to put his shoes and a dry bag, he has even carried a small cooler. Couldn't have asked for a better first kayak.

Seat Clips Continually Disconnect - Beware

My girlfriend and I bought two of these Passage 100 kayaks. I have been kayaking for 6 or 7 years and always wanted to try the sit-on-top style. We took our brand new Passage 100s out for their inaugural voyage, but were quickly disappointed by the seat clips repeatedly disconnecting and causing the seat to fall back. It happened on both of our kayaks and we had to end out paddle early. We ultimately returned the kayaks to the store and switched to sit inside models, which don't rely on those poorly designed clips.

    Do Not Buy !!!

so i bought this pile of dog **** with my partner a month ago to replace my sundolphin ive had for 6 years.. oh man this thing was a trip from the start.. my first drop in the water, the seat clip snaps off and falls into the lake. no worried though my partner has a quest sit in doesnt need hers gives it to me so i can have a usable seat. guess what happened again multple times. i should have said nope and brought it back then but i like to give the benefit when possible.. brought it out a couple more times same issue.. today i bring it out, not only did the clip keep coming off it unsnapped itself while moving over motor boat waves causing myself to fall into the water damaging my key fob and phone ( i have never fallen out of a kayak until today and never needed to use a wet bag). ok no worries right hey things happen... nope 5 minutes later it happens again, where i was in teh river was rocky and shallow teh seat snap and to brace myself i used the oar so not to fall in and bame oar snaps i still fall out lose my glasses and my phone screen is now cracked and thank god i decided to wear a helmet or id lkely have drowned. so my $450.00 glasses, my phone $699.00 ($299.00 used on amazon) The oar $49.99 and key fob replacement $379.00 because quest thought that a $0.50 piece of plastic would be good enough to support a full grown adult without popping off... I WILL BE VERY CLEAR I AM LOOKING INTO THE LEGAL MATTER OF THE NEGLEGIENCE BY BOTH QUEST AND DICKS. THIS SEAT THIS CLIP COULD GET SOMEONE HURT OR WORSE!! NOT ONLY AM I NEVER USING THIS KAYAK AGAIN, IM SHREDDING IT AND SENDING IT TO THE DUMP. ALL THEY HAD TO DO WAS MAKE IT A PERMANENT FIXTURE TO THE SIDE OF THE KAYAK BUT THEY WANTED TO SKIM AND SAVE MONEY. i work in manufacturing, Im very familier how management makes "cost saving" initiatives on products..

    Great Into Kayak

Second one of these I have purchased. Stability and maneuvering is great. I got it on sale, so of course I thought that was Awesome! I even appreciate the color.... Go Jaguars!

Best Budget Sit On Top Kayak!

I have taken this kayak out a couple times now and it has surpassed my expectations for the price. It is not the most stable but i have been able to stand in it on calm water. Would definitely recommend for someone just getting into kayaking.

    Sturdy And Comfortable, But Heavy...

This is a good beginner to intermediate-level kayak, which I got on sale. I bought it primarily for use on a nearby lake. My only criticism is that it's surprisingly heavy--much heavier than I anticipated--and since I'm only 5' tall, hosting this kayak up top my Jeep is nearly impossible when I'm traveling solo. It's heavy enough that I'm now considering replacing it with a lighter kayak. If you live on a lake and can store it by the water, the weight isn't as much of a big deal.

    Awesome Kayak

These are the first kayaks we have owned and they have been awesome. They are a pretty good weight and very stable on the water. They also have good storage space to bring along all we need. Would highly recommend!
