Careful of the tip
It was good to learn the basics on, but the tip broke off within three months.

I picked up the Lil' Anglers Profishiency 6'3" Spinning Combo for my son to use on weekend fishing trips, and I’ve been seriously impressed with the quality. For a combo marketed toward younger or newer anglers, this setup feels well-built, lightweight, and balanced in the hand. The 6'3" rod length is perfect—it gives enough casting distance without being too long for a younger angler to handle. The action is smooth, and the rod has enough backbone to handle bass, panfish, and even the occasional catfish. The spinning reel is surprisingly solid too—great line lay, good drag system, and very little wobble even after multiple uses. What really stands out is that this isn’t a "toy" setup like a lot of kids' combos. It’s a real, functional fishing rod that builds confidence and skill. My son loves it, and honestly, I’ve borrowed it more than once because it performs that well. Highly recommend for young anglers, beginners, or even as a compact travel combo. Great value for the price!
