I bought these pants for hiking after one wash they really softened up and I realize that they are great for lounging around the house as well. I like the drawstring around the waist and the ankle.

I love these pants but wow are they fragile. After a hike on an overgrown trail I came back with two snags in the fabric. The inner hem seams are already fraying bad too. I’ve worn/washed them 8-10 times? Sad.

I love these pants so far! I just bought them in four colors to wear on an upcoming trip to Vietnam where it will be extremely hot and humid. I also want sun and mosquito protection so I don't want to wear shorts. I was having a lot of anxiety about what to pack/ wear until I found the Koen Pant. These pants are so lightweight and feel like they will allow for a lot of airflow. I think they will dry overnight as well if I handwash them in my hotel room. I actually bought them in two sizes because I couldn't decide (XL or XXL). I typically wear a 14/16 in pants. I am going to return the XXL because these pants do loosen up a fair amount as you wear them. These have a much looser fit on me through the legs than the model pictures show. I REALLY appreciate that they come in three lengths. I'm 5'3" and the short length is perfect on me with sneakers on. The back of the hem just grazes the ground when I'm barefoot. I am apple shaped so I love that the legs are slimmer but the waistband is extremely forgiving and adjustable. That, coupled with the stitching details, makes them a much more flattering fit on my body type than other brands of hiking pants I've worn. I always end up with waistbands uncomfortably digging into my waist or spilling out over the waistband when I sit down but not with these! If I do need to tighten the waist during the course of wear, there is a nice cord tucked inside for doing so. I feel like these are going to be so comfortable for my foodie tour, which will involve some long travel days and lots of eating! If you are trying to decide between two sizes and are similarly shaped, I would size down based on how they loosen up with wear. After taking a picture for this review, I'm actually now wondering if I should've gone with a Size L...

I dislike them so much, even though I want to love them. They stretch out as you wear them so you start the day with decently fitting pants and by the end of the day you look like you took pants off a larger, wrinkled friend. The waistband isn’t elastic, it has a draw string inside and that is the only way they stay up. It’s like a scarf for your waist, making you look 3 sizes larger than you real are. So disappointing.

These pants are lightweight and comfortable. I can wear these playing pickleball for hours and they do not stick to your skin. I am 5’4”, 124 lbs., the xs pants fit but the small pants are more comfortable to move on the court. I have them in many colors. I also love the Koen skorts and capris.

Wonderful material and cocoa color. It's thin but I wanted that for warm weather hiking. Not too thin - covers curves and underwear does not show thru. I got the XS (5'2", 100 lbs) fits perfectly. Will be purchasing more colors if there's a sale.

I am a huge fan of the Koen capris and have 4 pairs of those. These are my first full length Koen pants and I love them, I just don't love the zippered pockets. As a Pilates instructor/practitioner, I avoid wearing zippers and grommets since it can damage the vinyl on Pilates equipment. These would be perfect pants for Pilates without zippered pockets. They're probably more suited for hiking and climbing.

I had never tried Koen pants before, and this one turned out to be so great! They fit me perfect and are very comfortable! Highly recommend!

I love these, I immediately got another pair and it's about all I wear, year around. When it's cold, I wear them with long underwear. They work for any dressy black pants occasion and I get compliments. If fact, I wear them everywhere but hiking, I don't want to tear them.

These pants are great for just about anything. They move with you, are flattering, and are incredibly comfortable. I am five 5’5”, 130 pounds, and found that the small fits best. I have two colors and would love a dark blue or navy option. They are a little pricey but well worth it especially if you can catch them on sale!

After reading amazing reviews for these pants here and on other sites, I decided to take the plunge and buy some. I should have trusted my gut, as I knew these pants weren't for me based on my body shape. The thighs were tight and the waist was loose. I'm about 140 lbs, 5'5" and have larger thighs and a smaller waist. They were not flattering or comfortable for me at all, and I returned them :(.

I love everything about this pant, except for the label showing through on the backside (I'd buy more when this design flaw is remedied). The fit is super flattering and comfortable. They are my daily go-to pant.

These pants have been my go-to for several years. Unfortunately, like others have mentioned the black tag bleeds through the fabric even with proper washing. I’ve been back and forth with a warranty claim with several debacles, including Prana providing a return label to my former home, not to Prana headquarters. In any case, they’ve finally agreed to a merchandise credit at half the cost of a new pair. I’ve been waiting for an email with the credit for a week now, hoping to leverage the holiday sale to get a replacement without spending significantly more money. Of course, it won’t arrive in time and therefore, all of my efforts have been for nothing. At this price point, Prana should stand behind their brand and not expect customers to fight for a simple replacement.

These are now my go-to hiking and backpacking pants. They even wash up well in the rivers in the Sierra Nevada. They are not restrictive and the waist band holds them up well so a heavy backpack can’t push them down - bonus!!
