I am 5’6”, 155lbs, size 10/12. I ordered a size Large. The shorts fit well in the waist and hips. Have taken several long walks and the shorts have not ridden up in the inner thigh area like most shorts- a big win. Wish pockets were deeper, zip pocket was bigger (can hold only chapstick) and there were back pockets. But material is soft and stretchy (more like a running short material rather than a hiking shirt material. The pockets are the only reason I took off a star, but they do hold my iPhone.

I bought these because I live longer lengths and these are not too long or short. Super comfortable and true size. Great pockets and easy to wash and laid flat to dry.
