Outstanding multi season extremely comfortable pants with no need for a belt. I love the extra pocket on the left leg!

This style with the side pocket makes for the best travel pants ever as well as doing all-around casual duty. I was particularly pleased to try the slim fit variation, which are a lot less loose in the butt and just right along my legs. I expect to buy a couple more pairs along the way since, at my age, I've found that my height has been shrinking over the past few years and my usual 32" inseam pants are too long but 30" is just about right.

These used to be my favorite pants, but I can't give a 5-star review because of two things: 1) Since the redesign a few years ago the odd cheap plastic button at the top of the fly zipper is not a "normal button". It has a strap loop through it and the button is prone to cracking. Since it's a unique design you can't replace it. The zipper fails to stay up if the button is broken. 2) The material is prone to pilling if it's rubbed by anything prickly or sharp, so don't wear it hiking unless you don't care.

I can wear these on trail and on business trips with a dress shirt and jacket and I am fine! Comfort level is superb, especially on trails, airplanes, and long bus trips where I need to curl up on my seat to catch some sleep. I may do a 10 mile run on these to test out how good they are for running! Love the belt! Truly holds depending on the comfort level I need. I run 50-100 miles ultra races and that fluctuates my weight enough to need the subtle belt adjustments during on and off seasons. I think I bought 3 pairs! Will be buying more!

My favorite pants I already borrow four pants and I wanna buy more before they discontinue. I love them so much.

Super comfortable wet or dry, lightweight but durable. I,m 6', weigh 225 and these can handle my active lifestyle and they look good doing it. One of my two "Go To" pants for hiking.

Can you please bring these back in black? Best color for multi-day hike to office use. Thanks.

I wear these to climb and they hold up very well as long as you're not bashing your knees into the wall every move. The only damage the pants have endured is a small tear on the knee when I ran it along a sharp section of rock. The tear hasn't gotten any bigger at all in the time since it occurred. The comfort and stretch is great for all the mobility I need on the wall. The only complaint is that the strap doesn't hold well and needs to be tightened every once in a while.

The pants are great... that being said, who thought it was a good idea to sew the front right belt loop halfway closed? You can barely fit a standard men's 1.5" belt through that loop. All other loops are normal. Yes, I know there is a built in belt, but some of us need to wear a normal belt that is wider than the chintzy built in .75" belt. Thankfully I was able to rip the stitching from the single belt loop to open it back up to the same size as the rest.

I have been wearing this line of shorts and pants for at least 15 years for casual and travel purposes. I am a fan, and the plastic button era wasn't an issue for me. I'm not a rock climber. For plane travel, the cargo pocket's dual zippers are very convenient, as is the built in belt. As my weight has fluctuated I have worn both 33 waist and 34 waist. The current gen of 34s fit like my older 33s. They're a little tighter than I was expecting. But I need to lose a few pounds anyway.

High quality, comfortable pants. Normally I wear 32x30L, these were 32x32 and fit perfectly. The built in belt should prove handy, especially when flying, no metal belt buckle to remove.

These are excellent pants. The only minor issue I have is that small items fall out of the pockets when you’re sitting down. A simple 1/2” stitch at the back of the pocket would solve this. Regardless, I highly recommend these pants. Fyi - I don’t put them in the dryer because I’ve read the fabric pills badly. They dry very quickly, and just letting them hang dry prevents that from happening.

Fits really well. I like the straight fit because it isn't baggy like the regular Zion pants, but it isn't a skinny fit either. The fabric is a nice midweight and the color is great. I use these both for hiking and for around town.

These pants are excellent. The only issue I have is with small items like keys and change falling out of the pockets when sitting. A small stitch at the back of the pocket would correct this problem.

Great travel pants. I've walked hundreds of miles in these pants in all kinds of weather. They're great when it's hot and roll up neatly for compact packing...but they could be improved. A 4 cm stitch in the pockets would prevent coins or other items sliding out of your pockets. A zippered back pocket would also be more secure than the simple flap. I wouldn't recommend these pants for climbing or scrambling as the fabric will pile. I especially like the built-in adjustable belt which is an advantage for those of us who still have to take off our belts when going through airport security. The zippered pocket is easily accessible when sitting down although it could be raised higher to make it more accessible when standing.
