No Longer My Favorite

Ever since you added the built in belt to your pants they are no longer comfortable. These were my favorite pants for years.

I Am Currently Buying Outside Research Products, Which Seem To Work Really Well

After being a loyal customer for many years, your products no longer seem to fit me. They seem to be geared more to young folks, and not to older folks like myself who are still very active.

Almost Perfect Adventure Pants

These are my new all around adventure pants. Super comfortable material and fit, lightweight, and quick drying. I have been testing these for about four weeks, bike commuting and hiking and they are on my primary pants on my packing list for a camping trip to a lake this weekend where I will go kayaking and hiking. Durability: Much sturdier than a lot of hiking pants that feel like they will tear brushing against a leaf. Despite the durability, you are not sacrificing weight. Comfort: The stretch makes them so versatile and comfortable for just about any outdoor pursuit: hiking, biking (commuting or bikepacking not long recreational rides), kayaking, climbing, backpacking, etc. Also plenty of room in the crotch which is a complaint I have with some outdoor rec pants. There's virtually no restriction to movement. Also, the material feels soft against your skin, which again sets them apart from some hiking pants. Style: This is not a top priority for me, but I have been told they look nice from people who don't mind telling me when I am wearing something they find embarassing. I have worn them to casual work settings.  Features: * Deep hand pockets and a cargo pocket with zip makes them convenient for people like me that always are carrying things. I wish the back pocket had a zip too for security. * Roll up pant legs with snaps makes them ideal for bike rides or creek crossings on a hike. I love my last adventure pants (Coalatree trail pant), but the ankle cuff was too tight to get it over my calf and they had drawstring bows at the ankles so not ideal for biking. I'd wind up just walking through the water and have wet pant legs for a while.  * The built in belt is functional and works well. One less thing to pack.  In the elements: These aren't waterproof but water beads up and rolls off. They work well in light rain. There is plenty of room to layer underneath for a winter hike. One qualm: While I appreciate how well they move, they are almost too baggy in the legs all the way down to the feet. I'm 5'10", 175 lb man, so it could just be my frame. I wish the pant had a little more cropped fit, especially since the stretch avoids the pants feeling confining. Bottomline: These are my favorite new pants I've gotten in a long time. The stretch sets it apart as well as the overall comfort and flexibility for a variety of activities. I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review.

Good Pants For Rock Climbing

I use these pants for indoor bouldering and top rope, as well as wearing them for daily lifestyle pants, they are very comfy, don’t ride up with a harness on, but are still stylish. Easy to clean and seem to be water resistant as well in the rain. These pants can be used by anyone.

Good Pants

Button hole is stitched way too tight. Love them otherwise.

Black Please!

Love these pants, but please please please bring back Black!!!!

Real Steep Down In Quality But Comfortable

I’ve been a prana loyalist for over a decade, no other company came close to quality and comfort. These pants have challenged that narrative for the worse. I’ve had several iterations of these same pants over the years and usually get a few good years out of them with regular use. So when it was time to re-up I ordered one of almost every color. And I regret it. Pros: as comfortable as they have always been. Have a great look and the stretch is nice. Pants are light and allow lots of movement. Cons: the durability is at an all time low. After just one wear, the material in the thighs was pillowing and lost their professional appearance (this was from running against a desk?!). The fabric is quickly creating holes from normal tasks and can’t even handle walking through the woods without some random tear, yarn hanging out, or abrasion developing. When a few of the pants went through the dryer, the pockets melted together and created a hole (I don’t even have the dryer on high heat). Another con is that the pockets do not hold in items like my keys or phone like previous generations of this pant could do (not as bad as the very first generation of these pants though). If I lay on my back l items fall out. My wallet consistently falls out of my back right butt pocket (even though there is a flap supposedly designed to prevent this). This occurs when sitting down. As much as I love Prana, this iteration of the pant has taught me that I need to look elsewhere for adventure pants. In closing, these pants really deserve a two star rating but because they are so comfortable, I’ll Keep them at a 3.

Stay Away From This Version.

This version is definitely sub par to the original. The recycled material is lacking quality and the worst is the button. It's awkwardly designed and weak. It popped off and I couldn't find it and Prana couldn't provide a replacement. It's not a regular button either. I own 7-9 prana Zion pants and 8-10 of the Zion shorts. Buy a different version of these pants for sure.

My Favorite Pants

These are great pants for hiking and climbing! I wear mine all the time. My only complaint is that older versions have a metal button that can dig into your stomach a little. I have one newer pair with a plastic button attached with narrow webbing that is SUPER comfortable, and still just as durable.

I Live In These Pants!!!

My go to pant for every single day of my life. This, the Brion, Brion short(please bring back!!!! or release new on with 10" inseam) and stretch zion short make up 350 days of my year. Bring back stone color and a few other great option for the spring collection.

Need More Sizes In Stock.

Please restock this style in all the sizes Love these paints need to buy more

Steve

The button broke after a few uses. Seems like a quality issue as I have heard similar feedback from others
