Freakin Rad!
I switched from a old college backpack after I acquired too much gear… This bag is 1000% worth the price. The duffle style opening makes it extremely accessible all day while you’re at the crags

Fantastic Simple Backpack!
Overall, this backpack is great. It fits an 80m rope, two helmets, plenty of quickdraws, shoes, harness and more (although its a tight fit with all of those things). The backpack design is good, and i like that the front of the backpack is what touches the ground, not the side that goes on your back. My only complaint is that the backpack is very simple - there are no loops to clip stuff onto, or pockets for waterbottles, which is a bit annoying if you need to hike a bit. Overall a fantastic bag, especially for the price!!

Good Rope Bag With Caveats
Was looking for a rope bag to replace our trusty Metolius shoulder bag that I could also use to carry my gear in. I was attracted to the "backpack" design hoping to make scrambles and traverses easier than with a shoulder bag. I decided on the FLIFF for it's price and after reading reviews. I recently tried the bad during a 2-day outing around Smith Rock, OR. The good: The bag easily carried a 70m rope, harness, shoes, jacket, a water bladder, and a set of x8 quickdraws and biners. The built-in rope tarp can be removed and worked well. The bad: This is striclty more of a bag with straps than it is an all-day backpack for a rope. After lugging it over 2 hours from crag to crag, I sorely missed it not having a waist strap to help with the weight, as well as more padding on the shoulders. It could also use some extra outside pockets and/or a daisy chain to clip accesories to. That said, the material seems very robust, and the large zippered main compartment makes taking gear in and out a cinch. Happy enough with it, but a few extra tweaks by Petzl would really make this a killer bag.

Awesome Rope Bag!
This is an awesome rope bag for the gym, and crag. I used this bag carry a 70mm rope, shoes, chalk bag, Grigri, change of clothers, snacks, and there are still room to carry extra stuff. I highly recommend this bag.
