Not as nice as the older Men's version. This one is thinner and lighter weight, which could be what you want, unless you expect it to be same warmth as men's version.

This is a great hybrid jacket. It is either grid fleece or a windproof face with alpha-style lining. So there is warm fuzzy everywhere, and windproof where you need it most. Love the hood, pockets, length. Insanely lightweight and packable. Perfect for the Rockies where it's not pouring rain, but the ridges and alpine lakes are windy AF and the climb makes me sweat like crazy and it could snow any day. Would also be good in a wider range of conditions when paired with other baselayers or jackets. Fit is good, I have broad ish shoulders and chonky arms and while it's not loose, it's not overly tight. I can put another grid fleece or merino layer under just fine. True to size for other OR gear, which tends to be a bit bigger than Patagonia and some other brands. Value is good if you get it on sale and if it fits your use case. I wouldn't wear it in the PNW as much as the Rockies, for example.

This is the best breathable running jacket ever. It cannot be faulted in design/shape, features and fabric. I am so smitten because it starts out warm but never gets hot and I never get cold. There is room for layers yet it is light weight, packs down and always feels good on. Seriously my favourite jacket for all cool weather activities.

I got this jacket to replace my hooded air and found myself disappointed. The fit doesn't work for me. The sleeves are too short and shoulders too tights despite being the same size I wear in all OR clothing as well as other brands. I've never had this problem before. I also don't like that there is no draw cord at the bottom. It pulls away from my body and cold air gets in.

Great lightweight jacket for a cool run. The front panel helps with wind resistance and light rain. The back side of the jacket is waffle knit allowing for breathability. This jacket is also true to size.

Utilized for SO, it has been a good activewear layer and continually used more and more as a light rain jacket / wind breaker

I live at elevation, where weather conditions can change fast (and wind is common). I've worn this jacket in a variety of conditions so far: rain/snow mix at 40 degrees, < sub-freezing temps and sunny, dark and 32 degrees. It's kept me warm without overheating, blocked the wind, and kept me dry during light/moderate precipitation. It's lightweight and packs up small, and is my new fav running item! It feels like it might run just a tad bit small in my opinion, so if you want a thicker layer under it, I might suggest sizing up.

The Deviator Hoodie is warm, comfortable and blocks the wind. My wife uses hers all the time and keeps it in her back, as it's so light.

I winter hike a lot in the white mountains of New Hampshire and I love this layer! It's perfect for ascents over my 300 weight wool shirt. I rarely sweat in it or need more than those 2 layers. If I do sweat it evaporates very quickly. It's very thin and lightweight however I barely need an additional layer in higher elevations. I have worn this in temps ranging from 10-30 degrees F. It's amazing. I love the windbreaker aspect of it bc it either surprise snows or you brush up against trees while hiking and don't get wet. You stay so warm with the fleece lining. Still can't believe how thin it is.

bought this hoody because my favorite clothing item the OR ascendant hoody has been discontinued and I'm on search for a replacement. This is not it. The sleeves feel both bulky and not insulating. AND The jacket must be worn with a vest as the back is non insulated. The fit is trimmer and less cozy/comfy than the ascendant and the zipper is chintzy itty bitty and a pain to use especially as compared to the ascendant. I still wear the jacket running with a vest over it but I certainly won't be buying a second one just in case...

So versatile. I wear this in 50 degree weather over a t-shirt to hike, or in 10 degree weather over a baselayer to xc ski. It layers under a shell well too. Breathable, but cuts the wind when biking or skiing. The hood fits super well, alone or under a helmet. And my favorite part... a chest pocket!! Not enough women's jackets have them.

I bought this jacket for fall activities when the weather is cool, sometimes windy, sometimes rain/snow. It is weather resistant, moves well, has breathable material on sides and back. I look forward to using it on non stormy winter days cross country skiing. Anyone can use this jacket beginner to expert. The wrists are snug, not adjustable. It is fitted. Get it! Nice jacket.

fits great, comfortable and warm for mid/low temps. i was hoping for pants that would work for freezing temps without having to layer but i guess that's a lot to ask

I've had this piece out for a couple of runs now, and I really like it. It's quite warm- I was a bit too warm today in 2°C sunny weather - but it sheds heat well, and I was glad to have the warmth when the sky clouded over. This will be a jacket that I break out at 0C or below, personally, but I run hot. Lots of pockets, which are nice. Very soft and comfortable; flattering fit without being restrictive. Fit true to size for me (5'9" 160lb.) Only things I would change: it would be great if there was a drawcord at the hem, both to snug it up in colder/windy conditions and to stop the contents of the pockets from bouncing as much; and I find the wrists aren't stretchy enough to pull over a watch without a bit of effort.
