Try to close the snaps when its cold or with gloves on....impossible. there way to small you will freeze before you can get it snapped closed ..

Great hat but even a Medium is too big for my head. I wear a 7 hat. The Medium rides down so low I can’t see. Why not make a Small size?

I’ve had this hat for around 4 years and it’s just phenomenal!! I use it for backpacking hunting fishing and skiing! Only complaint is the buttons can be difficult to snap, especially with gloves on. But they’re tight and that’s a plus! I’m Gonna get another one👏🏼

This is one of the warmest hats that I have worn. I do a lot of landscape and sports photography. That means standing outside in the elements for long periods of time just waiting. This hat looks good when the flaps are up and looks even better when the flaps are down. The added face guard is a life saver when the wind is really blowing. The fold-able brim is great, but I'm not sure it's necessary. I didn't feel like I would ever just shove this into a pocket. It's a great hat and I'm super happy I bought it.
Big warm head
Great hat, especially for people with big heads. Warm, well made, quiet (noisy hats are the worst…) Actually covers my ears and back of my head properly. I’ve never found a hat that fits as well as this one. Might look a bit silly but who cares? It’s awesome. AND it keeps the snow out of your eyes…! Some different colors would be nice but I’ll buy a few of these on the off chance they get discontinued.

I have 1" stretched ears and nothing keeps them warm. Beanies and headbands never cover my lobes so I'm always forced to wear hoods, which can get annoying when combined with my long hair. This hat fixes all my problems. Wore it camping at 30° and got too hot while collecting firewood that I had to take it off. Once I sat down to relax, I put it on and it was perfect. If I get even colder, I can always throw a hood on over it as well. Love it.

Kept head and especially ears nice and toasty. Love the hidden face cover which haven't had to use yet. Liked so much ordered as a birthday gift for a friend who walks his dogs in all types weather good or bad

I have many hats, and this will be one of my new favorites for cool weather-wear! I am normally a 7-3/8" hat size, which is Large by the size chart. It was too snug, so I returned it for a XL which fits much better. Just a touch loose, but that's better than too snug for comfort and warmth. The fit isn't poor, it just didn't align with the size chart. Can't wait to get some wear in this hat! I know it's a good hat, when my wife just shakes her head at me, ha!

I love the Whitefish Hats. Bought this to replace my last one. I wore it so much that the stitching around the snaps gave out. Super versatile and functional hat in any conditions, for everthing from nordic skiing to ice fishing.

Great for hunting i like having a beak its way more orange than the picture makes it seem but either way a great hat

I bought this hat to replace one that I lost and it wasn’t sure that it would fit the bill, but I have been pleasantly surprised, and I love the hat. keeps my ears nice and warm when it’s really cold and if I get too warm, I can snap the flaps. Facemask zippered in the hat is a great feature to protect my face against the frigid cold, when I’m at hiking in the winter.

Now, I'm a fellow that knows hats, and this is a good one. What distinguishes it from other flap hats is the baseball style bill, so you get sun protection too. It's my go-to hat for snow shoeing and other out all day winter stuff. OR - keep making it and maybe offer some other colors. Thanks

I haven't ever loved beanies because they lack a brim for the sun, brimmed beanies never feel great, and just a hat is cold. A beanie over a hat has been my best solution until I found this! Its adjustability makes it perfect for cold days. I also love the break in the brim so you can store it in a pocket or pack w/o worries. Excited to have this in my collection for years to come!
