Nice Product But Errors In Product Description

This is a great hat and has been waterproof, however definitely some discrepancies with the description of it. Mesh lining-does not have a mesh lining-Has a soft warm lining. Great for rain, however will be terribly hot in summer. Cape does not remove. At all. Not sure how that got described so inaccurately….and zero adjustment on hat band. Luckily the large size fits my head perfectly, but with zero options for adjustment and zero stretch in fabric…you may be disappointed. Is a nicely made product and happy with shape & waterpoofness. However I may have purchased something else had the description actually been accurate.

Great Quality Item! Probably Not For Hot Summers

Good quality and feels sturdy but note that the inside is fleece so could be hot. The description says the cape is adjustable but I think it just means that the string helps it be adjustable.

Works great! I deer hunt in all weather, and it kept my head dry on an all day sit in full rain. Absolutely recommend!

Over-priced Paddling Hat With Great Coverage

I needed a hat for an upcoming paddle through the 100 Wild Islands off Nova Scotia. This over-priced paddling hat with great sun/rain and neck coverage will surely do the trick.

Your Back Is Going To Get Wet

This hat does a good job of keeping the rain off your head and neck, and it packs down well without ending up looking all squished when you pull it out to uses it again. It also seems to dry rather quickly, so that's a nice feature. The extended neck cover is nice, but beware that your back will now get wet instead of your neck as the water runs off the hat. As long as you have a good waterproof coat on, it's no problem, but if you're thinking about using this with anything else, prepare to get a bit soggy as the hat directs a lot water down off that large back brim.
