I thought this bivy was very user friendly to set up and light for bikepacking.

Cozy

I used this on a 268 mile 4 night bike packing trip through the Los Padres National Forest. It packs small and is light. It’s easy to set up and tear down making it great for a beginner or expert hiker or bike packer. The zipper is a little funky to use from the inside, especially if you only want the mesh closed. The foot area is a little narrow so stay away from wide sleeping pads. I’m 6’0” 190 lbs and fit with some room to spare but not much. If I used a foam pad that would give me more room than my current 3” air pad.

Perfect solution for going ultralight in the backcountry!

Super Lightweight

Good to have in emergencies and it is super light weight. Great addition for a bugout bag

Great Lightweight Bivy!

I use this for backcountry hunts. I appreciate that it is lightweight and compact. I also like that there is a tie up point that can be used if you wan to cut even more weight by leavi g the pole at home. Steakout points are also great especially when sleeping on uneven or sloped grassy ground as it keeps the bivy in place and helps keep the material out of your face while sleeping. The only real downside as is true with all bivies is the condensation which can be managed somewhat by sleeping head out or with just the bug net up.
