Worked well during my hike when it was snowing. Kept the bag dry

The Rain cover was a game changer. I put it on my backpack mostly for extra security and to keep my backpack clean while it was tossed in plane and bus luggage holds. Amazingly the cover is still intact and my backpack is still clean.

I haven't used it yet, full disclosure, since it didn't rain much during our climbing trip. However, I did cover my new Osprey Zealot 45L climbing pack to make sure this cover fits. The cover packs up really nicely in it's own pouch; the pouch, in turn, is sewn onto the raincover, so you won'd lose it, which is a nice touch. There was a little looseness, which isn't a big deal. In fact, I think I might be able to drape a 50-70m climbing rope outside and still squeeze it in the cover, if I really was in a pinch, so that is a plus. Overall, solid and I hope I never have to use it (but certainly great to have, just in case!).

I bought this particular rain cover because of the color. It matches my gray backpack even though it is an older model. The new version is a bright yellow, which I did not care for.

Good for keeping the rain off on an osprey 58L Exos but won’t fit if there is a sleeping pad on your pack. The durability is average but it’s super light weight.

I purchased this cover for as a replacement for the old one that I used on my 1997 Osprey Xenith Pro (XL). It’s way better than the original! It fits better, covers more of the pack, and packs up smaller when not being used. If you need one for your pack, it runs true to size and the elastic allows it to fit snuggly no matter what you’re carrying.

I haven’t put it to the test in the field yet, but so far this Osprey pack rain cover is what I was expecting……………………………………………………………………………..

Fits pack as expected, keeps everything dry, light weight. Over all works well. Goes on the pack easily and stays on. We have three of them.

I had an old pack cover from another manufacture that was working but just did not fit my new Osprey AG 65 pack. This cover is made specifically to fit the Osprey packs .

This pack cover is functional and extremely light! It looks great too! The material is durable and water tight. Fits into any small space in your pack.

This product is nearly what I expected - a lightweight, thin, small ripstop nylon shell to throw over my old Aether 75. The Large is an adequate size, without any externals. It seems to work well so far, but needs to be synched and tucked in certain spots - not a perfect fit on the bag. Durability seems okay, but definitely not heavy duty. Would be great if they offered a more custom fit tailored more toward a range of style lines rather than a few sizes that fit all approach, but again, I have an older bag.

This cover packs down so small I had to clip it to the backpack to keep from loosing it. Very easy to use and secure with the strap hook. Super product..

Great Quality, Great Fit, Legendary Osprey Warranty....what more could you ask for? .........................................................

I've been through a few rain covers over the years and have been happy with the design of this one in particular. It hugs the pack like a glove. Like any low denier nylon care is needed to extend its life. My setup includes a 50l atmos which uses the large size and I'm able to attach my foam pad.

I don’t know why Osprey doesn’t offer a rain cover for the Aether 85 AG. It is nice that they offer one separately. Had to have one, and to date haven’t used it. Here’s hoping to never have to.
