Doesn't Fit Petite Frame
Love the bag, looks perfect, but it's impossible to get it to fit comfortably on a 5ft 2ish female frame. It either digs too much into the back of my neck or the plastic bits on the straps knock against my inner arm. Support were super helpful so I'm going to return and hopefully swap for another model

Do Not Buy. Get The 40l Instead
It is not at all obvious from the website or any of the online reviews of this pack, but the large pack that is part of the 55L version is NOT the same as the 40L pack sold separately. The 40L pack has a top pocket and a laptop pocket and two other outside pockets. The large pack that is part of the 55L version has none of those things and it is a GIANT pain to not have them. I don’t like the daypack at all. It’s strangely narrow and the outside pockets are too small and the zip enclosure doesn’t open far enough. And for some reason it makes my shoulders incredibly, unreasonably sore when I wear it for more than a couple of hours, even when I don’t have much in it. That has never happened to me with any other backpack. Do yourself a favor; buy the 40L pack along with some other daypack from somewhere else. Any daypack with loops on the front big enough to run straps through will attach to the 40L pack. I wish Osprey would have made the differences between the two versions clear. That said, other things about the large pack are nice. It seems to be well-constructed. The backpack support system is comfortable—enough so that I took it on a six day mountain backpacking trip without discomfort. The main drawback is that it has essentially nothing in the way of internal organizational structure; it’s just one giant compartment. That the 55L lacks the external pockets of the 40L compounds this issue.

The Perfect Travel Pack
This travel pack has changed the way I travel, and all for the better. I traveled Europe for six weeks with no more than 3 nights in one place, and while I usually dread packing and repacking, these bags made it easy and fast, even as I collected souvenirs along the way. The main bag is simple, flexible, and larger than you might think. The smaller bag is a perfect daypack and attaches easily (on the back or front), making this the best hands-free travel I've ever experienced. It's comfortable to wear no matter how full it is, and the teal color is beautiful! The size allows it to be a carry-on on flights, so it saves me money as well as time. I can't recommend it enough!

Both Packs Are As Described.
Both packs are as described. Fits great & seems ideal for traveling (main purpose besides hiking). . . can't wait to try it out on the trails!

Fairview 55
Considering the cost of the bag and expertise of Osprey I'm surprised, and disappointed at the lack of external pockets for both rucksacks. Absolutely none on the big bag so nowhere to put keys, water bottle or any small items you might need to access quickly. Only 1 small pocket on the small rucksack. Lacking internal pockets too really compared to what I am used to, and need for travel.
