Absolutely perfect pack, and perfect size. I carried it on a 40 mile section of the Appalachian Trail and everything fit just right. I thought I would miss having a whole bunch of extra zippered pockets and so on, but I came to appreciate the simplicity of the pack.

Great Looking Lightweight Bag
Am yet to use the bag on any trails, but the pack has a really nice fit and adjustment. A whole lot of straps on the back of it, but they all seem to have a purpose. It's a shame it doesn't have a raincover as well. Overall looks really solid and I'm looking forward to wearing it.

Great Pack! Lightweight And Very
Great pack! Lightweight and very comfortable with just the right amount of adjustments needed and large side-pockets that you can reach into without taking the pack off of your back. I'm very happy with this purchase!

The New Pack Has Hip
The new pack has hip belt pockets that are useless unless you have it off. No way to close with one hand. The water bottle pockets are not stretchy now and basically useless not one handed anymore.

This Pack Is A Replacement.
This pack is a replacement. I teach winter survival and used my Osprey packs in the class. My old one had a waterproof issue and the company stepped up and replaced in just a few weeks in time for my class. All my packs are Osprey and they are great.

Amazingly Comfortable Pack That Comfortably
Amazingly comfortable pack that comfortably carries up to 40 pounds for me. I load the Exos with 40 pounds for training hikes. The mesh ventilation on the frame minimizes sweat compared to other packs. Very impressed with the Exos and how light it is.

This Pack Is A Replacement
This pack is a replacement for a 12+ year old Exos 58 which I loved. This newer version is heavier by several ounces but seems to be built more rugged and is as comfortable or more comfortable than my earlier version. It seems an appropriate tradeoff. The adjustability is excellent and I really appreciate that the hip belt can snug down on my narrow waist (something I noticed other packs could not do). For my hiking needs it packs satisfactorily, but I'm still waiting for manufacturers to innovate solutions to carrying a bear cannister like so many of us are required to do.

Great Pack
Lightweight with lots of storage around the body of the pack. Very comfortable to wear and easy to get into a good position. I used it for 6 days on the Pennine Way carrying about 15kg. It was easy to get everything I needed into the pack and my tent went nicely into one of the expandable side pods. Highly recommended.

Not Quite A 5.
The bag took me a while to figure out as i nearly returned it. It was small inside and i couldn't get everything in, but realised it was strapped up tight. Once i released the straps it became a lot wider. Talking about the straps, too many of them. I don't even know what they all do to be honest. Some get in the way as well. I was also disappointed that as no rain cover, very disappointed. I don't know maybe i assumed there would be one. I see now why the weight value seemed low to other bags. If i knew this beforehand, i probably wouldn't have bought it. Saying that, the bag looks great, extremely comfortable and the back air system is also great.

Excellent Pack! I Purchased This
Excellent Pack! I purchased this pack for extended, 3-8 day, ski touring trips and so far it gets the job done. The external pockets are able to handle avi/snow gear, while everything else stays dry in the main compartment. In the past I've tried to cram everything I need into a Kamber 42, but it just winds up being too much weight for that pack to carry comfortably. The Exos handles the weight far more comfortably. The straps and back suspension are fantastic, no hot spots or chaffing. After my first trip, the only issue I had was accessing the hip pockets, the zippers just didn't want to close after opening them up. Once the pack was off and the hip belt was straight the zippers worked fine. Overall, I'm so happy I picked up a larger pack to handle the extra load. No more gear dangling off the outside of the pack, and more importantly, no more discomfort.
