No Regrets! Worth Every Penny

I can not say enough about how much I love this kayak. Not one complaint. Out for hours and no sore back. Never tipped and its been 5 years Ha! Fingers crossed. No regrets!

Perfect Recreational Kayak!

After multiple months of renting kayaks we finally decided to buy. Looked at several 12' rotomolded examples of the closest competitors. Nothing came close to the fit and finish of this Loon 120. One of the biggest selling points were the dashboard design and the seat. Yes this thing's heavy. But not impossible to move around. We've spent time both on rivers, rapids and lakes. The Loon is extremely stable with a fantastic amount of feedback when leaning over heavily and is very manageable when edging. They have a lot of room for day trips too. Also a huge shout out to the OldTown service. One of our dashboards developed an issue with the hinge and was immediately sent a replacement. Can't wait for spring to get back out on the water. You can spend days in these without issue thanks to the seat and size.

The Old Town Loon 120 is an awesome kayak. It’s light enough to haul to the water by yourself, but super solid once you’re in. It tracks really well and glides through the water with ease, making it a smooth, easy paddle. We picked this one up along with the Loon 106 for my wife, and we’ve spent a ton of time on the water this summer. It’s been great not only for the kayaking itself, but for the time together—just relaxing, paddling at an easy pace, and exploring the lakes and river fed creeks, near our home in Kentucky. Couldn’t be happier with it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After 8 years w/a “starter” kayak I was finally able to become a member of the Old Town family. This has been a want since 1997, but life always got in the way. After YEARS of saving, my dream finally came true. Words can not express the quality and craftsmanship of the Loon 120. And the new color choice for 2025 of Cinder is top notch! I am memorized over the room this watercraft offers! The workdeck is amazing, seat is beyond comfortable, and the water operation is like a floating luxury liner. This will be the last kayak I’ll ever need. It’s my new best friend!
