Looks Great, Waiting To Use
I wont get to use this reel until October but Ive loaded it with line and mounted it on an 11' pole. The rerl.serms to wind smoothly and evenly and feels balanced in hand. Im eager to put it to the real test.

I bought both real and rod of the stratus 7 saltwater and it was amazing for rock fishing, used a 10oz sinker and even when doubled up ghe rod and reel perfomed amazinf and without issues great product for the prize

Great For Crabbing
I bought this Okuma Startus 7 mainly for crabbing, and let me tell you, it's been a champ! Hauling up those heavy crab snares full of feisty Dungeness can really put a strain on your gear, but this reel has handled it like a pro. This reel isn't just a one-trick pony. I've also taken it surf fishing a few times, casting out heavy bait rigs for halibut. The Startus 7 casts smoothly and far, which is essential when you're trying to reach those deeper waters where the halibut hang out. It's held up well to the saltwater conditions too, showing no signs of corrosion. Honestly, for the price, I couldn't be happier with this reel.
