Not As Good As Original Design

While in my opinion this is still a good shoe, the redesign took my review from a 5 star to a 3 star. The flat laces are difficult to work, especially on the trail, and the seam on my right show is splitting. Very disappointing.

Great Everyday Shoe

After wearing another brand for 20+ years, the last pair seemed to fit but blistered my feet in the weirdest places. After reading lots of reviews, I went with the Sawtooth and am glad I did. My feet are ever so happy again. I didn't like the way they were laced out of the box, so I relaxed them--glad I only have to do that once as they are difficult to lace due to tight holes. However, once laced they are easy to loosen/tighten as needed and fit well. I ordered my usual size and have had no issues.

Unfortunate Disappointment

I read several great reviews on these shoes and my husband has the boots. Unfortunately my right heel was slipping out of the shoe. I tried to remove the lace to use the extra hole to lace the shoe properly to stop the slipping- it's impossible to remove the lace! I would have had to cut it. *a smaller size is not the answer!
