    I bought this bike un-assembled, which was fine for me because I've purchased bikes that were put together incorrectly. Overall the bike is perfect, it's one of the few that have a hand brake in this size, which was the main reason I purchased it. However, it looks like the handle bar pad was melted at some point. Of course once you open the box they can't really do anything because you can't prove you didn't cause the damage. So if you buy this bike in the box, make sure to open it and check it out in the store before purchasing! Otherwise it's a fantastic bike.

    Bike was purchased as a Christmas present. Easy to assemble and everything works as it should. Just wish detailed instructions on adjusting the hand break were included but it was easy enough to figure out.

    Nice Beginners Bike

    My 4 yr old daughter loves her new bike. All in all it's a great beginners bike. There are a few items that aren't built that great but for the cost I would say pretty good. Hopefully it holds up in time.

    Perfect For Our 6 Year Old

    Our 5 almost 6 year old just learned to ride and we had the training wheels on a for a few days then she took off! This bike has ridden smoothly and without problem since.

    Ok For The Price.

    I bought this bike and had it assembled in the store. The brakes work fine however the seat doesn't adjust. Whenever I raise the seat and my niece sat on it, the seat would plop back down. I close the lock lever but it doesn't stay. I'm going to try and see if I can take it back to get fixed but the store isn't close to me at all so it's a bit frustrating.

    Good overall for the sale price it was. Totally removed the front brake as it is junk and not needed. Too difficult to install as well.

    The breaks aren’t great but other than that my daughter is very happy.

    Poor Assembly

    Bought this bike last week for granddaughter. She tried riding it but was uncomfortable with how the bike turned and stopped. I checked out the handle brakes and steering and found that the handle brake's cable was wrapped around the steering column, making it too tight. So when she turned the handle bars, they pulled the brake cables causing the brakes to apply too quickly. Avoided an accident. I gave the bike 2 stars because it was priced well and I've enjoyed riding the Nishiki brand some years back. But I would give zero/one star for assembly.
