Brought My Old Jackets Back To Life

I have a Columbia Omni-Shield Jacket that's been washed so many times that I had lost hope for it. I have used this stuff on it one time and it's restored it back to its original capability. Simple to use and turns out as good as new. I strongly suggest anyone who has any kind of water repellent jacket or clothing to use this stuff. Take the time to read both the garments labels as well as the use instructions on the bottles and follow the one that's more restrictive.

Works Well

I followed the instructions and it works as intended. all my snowboard gear is keeping me dry. I used the cleaner first then followed up with the treatment. it would be better if it was just a spray on but it's not hard to use. ery easy to use so beginners and experts alike can use without worry. it would be nice if it came in bigger containers. depending on how much gear you have, this kit still last you a few years.

Got My Jacket Waterproof Again!

I have an old Eddie Bauer rain jacket that has been very durable and I've loved having it, but over the years has just lost it's ability to repel water, so not much point to wearing it ever. Bought the Hardshell clean and waterproof duo pack to try and revive the water repellency. It worked like a charm! Super easy process, instructions were very clear. Waterproofness came right back to my favorite jacket. Only complaint I have is that for top loading washers (like mine), the instructions say to use the whole bottle. So beware of the washing machine you have and the size of bottle you buy.

Never go through a change in season without these. Nik keeps all my technical and natural fiber clothing in excellent condition, which makes them last longer as well.

I recently bought these to clean my Gore-Tex jacket and pants. My pants are easily 10 years old and I have never cleaned/washed them and they were loosing waterproofing abilities. After giving these a good wash with both bottles, both my jacket and pants are super clean and very waterproof! I'll certainly start doing this more often, before or after each season. Don't think about it, just do it. Your gear will be thanking you:)

making sure the surfaces can bind well to the product takes a bit of effort, it's not quite as simple as wash it and then use the waterproofing product, but if you take the time on the prep work, the results are great

Nikiwax Review

Both the Tech Wash and TX Direct worked great on my gore-tex jackets and pants! Gear looks new and still performs the same. I do wish there were better instructions. I had to look up multiple videos on what settings to wash my gear in.
