Great Speed Shoe
I love New Balance running shoes, and these have not disappointed! They don't appear quite as bulky as the previous version, and they are extremely light weight. They do run on the more narrow side. I require wide shoes. My typical shoe size is 5.5 wide, but for racing shoes I go up to a 6 wide. The previous version felt a little roomier all over, these feel more snug, but I actually like that. I hate the tongue design of the SuperComps, though. It's so easy for the laces to slide over the tongue and bite into my ankle. I have to lace them all the way up in order for my ankles to feel stable (with foam, carbon plated shoes that are so high it's easy for my ankles to feel a bit wobbly well into a marathon), but lacing them all the way definitely bites a bit. They do feel fast, though, if that makes sense!

Great Shoe
These are great ! I wish they had a bit more of a wider base. I bought the wide version first because of the reviews saying they ran narrow, they do but not enough to have kept a wide. I reordered a 7.5 in the normal width, which is my normal new balance size.. I wear a 7.5 in most of my running shoes except in adidas, I am all over the place in sizing in that brand. I wear a 6 and 6.5 in my casual shoe size, depending on brand. I think these shoes run true to size. I have last years version in a 7.5 and the year prior to that a size 7, but possibly could have gotten a 7.5, but that version ran really long and had a sock type upper.. if I would have gotten a 7.5 my foot would have had a lot of slippage I think. My opinion in these shoes, you should get your normal new balance running shoe size.
