I purchased this particular tennis shoe to walk on the treadmill. They felt very comfortable my first time back on it. The shoes are well worth the purchase. I 💯 recommend them.

I love my new New Balance shoes. I have worn New Balance since my sone was 2 years old; he turned 45 this year. New Balance is the only shoe I wear for all my activities and I love that they come in various widths and suitable for all types of feet.

These are so lightweight, very supportive and fit perfectly for wide feet. Ive had no knee pain whilst starting running in these. They also look really good!

I had a pair of 880s many years ago (version 12 I believe) and they were my absolute favorite. I must say I do not like the feel of the newest version as much, but still feels like a fairly supportive and comfortable shoe. I’m hoping it will get more comfortable as I wear them more. Would love to see the gray with purple color again. Settled for basic black because I really didn’t care for the other color choices. It’s one of the only issues I have with new balance is that each version comes with its own set of colors so it’s hard to upgrade to a new version when you like the color choices from a previous one.

I’m not sure why New Balance insists on completely redesigning their shoes with every version. This is my 3rd pair of 880’s and I will be returning them, despite loving my v14’s. It’s absolutely exhausting to find the perfect running shoe, only to have to start all over when you need to replace it. It’s as bad as car shopping. I’d give you the stats but you can do the research yourselves. The thickness of sole and, the midsole, the heel drop…All have changed repeatedly over the versions. If consumers want a maximalist cushion shoe, give them one. Just let the 880 be what it was - a fantastic, cush neutral shoe. To be completely fair to NB - I will give this shoe 3 stars because it appears to be well made and looks great - but it bears very little resemblance to the former models I’ve loved and is not a suitable replacement for me. For that alone, I’d give NB 0 stars.
Features of this shoe ticked ALL mandatory boxes - as recommended by Podiatrist after 'serious' ankle injury requiring 6 months rehab. My occupation requires a lot of walking, therefore, I needed a shoe I could rely on. Am so impressed and confident wearing them, I purchased a second pair specifically for upcoming holiday.

Have tried other shoes and always come back to the 880, which wears well and is extremely comfortable to run in.

I have worn the 880s for several years now - they help to stop injuries I was experiencing when wearing shoes that weren't right for my foot running style. Highly recommend

These are comfortable and fit well. My first week of owning them and there’s no ‘break-in’ time needed. My only complaint is the elastic sewn along each side of the tongue that anchors it to the shoe. Putting these things on is a real trial because I cannot open up the shoe sufficiently. I would cut the elastic but I’m afraid it would compromise the structure of the shoe. I don’t understand why this is necessary.

Stop changing the design! The rating is for the shoe top material and the colour - the tongue has changed, the cut around the ankle is different and the shoe is higher- stop with extra cushioning!

They are great, comfortable, and worth the price. However, for me, I needed to move to a wide width. It can go either way for me, depending the shoe. So if you have a flater, or wider foot, either go up a size of go wide width. Otherwise, Great Shoe!!
