Love 574s - But These Are Little Different

I've always loved New Balance 574s. This recent pair I ordered looked a little different as they did not have the "574" on the tong of sneaker. The "574" marking is on inside tag of tongue though. I don't know if this style is slightly different than the other style I mentioned, but for some reason they do feel more narrow.

Bought this after much research. I have foot pain, so can’t really feel comfortable throughout the day on any shoe. I ordered 9.5 and usually wear 8 or 8.5 so that I can insert an insole for arch support. It is narrower towards the toe. If you prefer comfort, would recommend to order half a size bigger.

Overall I like the shoe look and comfort, but wish the trim and tongue material of the shoe was of better quality leather. It feels like cheap plastic/vinyl that will crack in a month or two.

Quality Defect. Shoes Rip At The Seam

Although they are comfortable, I am disappointed with the quality. I don't use the 547 much and the side has started to rip on my right shoe. I can tell it's about to rip on the left as well. I don't recommend this style.

Second Pair Of 574s!

Good shoe as I use this primarily for work (hospital), and my 2 year old 574s is at that point where it now needs to be on shift work. These new ones seem to be made out of tougher material, and though it needs a longer break-in time, seem to be much more durable (not that the other one isnt!).
