I got the 2p footprint. I don't get why companies sell footprints separately. (I mean, I do. It's for money) But I personally think all tents should come with a footprint. Anyways, it's functional. I still don't really know how to feel about how it connects to the tent. I'm skeptical that it's the best way. So far it's been fine. I agree with another review I saw that said the material of the footprint is slippery against the bottom of the tent.

I previously had this footprint for years before it was left behind on a backpacking trip, it was wonderful! It was a no brainer to buy another. First off, it is light weight and takes up virtually no room in my pack and can fit into the Hornet tent stuff sack to keep things consolidated. When setting up, it clips in easily to the base of the tent poles and stays in place throughout the night. It is a must-have when camping, whether to have another layer off the ground or to keep the water out on rainy nights. It fit my tent perfectly, leaving me dry and warm while camping in wet spring weather.

Used this in the Goat Rocks recently and it was perfect. It gave me a peace of mind that was absolutely worth it.

I prefer manufactured groundsheets or footprints for my tent. This seems to be thicker than past Nemo footprints. This is definitely the most unique footprint and fits the Hornet great.

This footprint fits my tent perfectly. It helps protect the tent floor against sharp objects. The footprint also helps keep the tent floor clean from dirt, mud and sap which helps extend the life of the tent. I used this footprint with my Nemo Hornet during some heavy rains and storms and it is cut so that water did not collect between the footprint and tent floor. The only downsize to it is that it is a bit heavy. For my Hornet Elite tent the footprint weighs almost a quarter of the weight of the tent itself.

10/10 recommend. Especially if you have a Nemo tent

The material of the footprint does not interact well with the material from the tent, such that it slides around. If the tent is not pitched on perfectly flat ground then my roll matt slides in the direction of the downhill. This is not fit for purpose and so badly designed, it's embarrassing. I ow just use a tarp which is a fraction of the cost and does a better job.

Nice, light weight, compact. Never again will I carry Tyvek. This Nemo footprint was worth the extra money. Makes tent setup a breeze and if I choose to camp without the tent body the footprint allows me to do so. I'll be using this on my thru- hike of the Arizona Trail.

It’s nothing special, just a foot print. It seems a little short and narrow compared to the bottom of the tent, but perhaps that is how footprints are meant to be sized??? The fabric was waterproof on our rainy nights, and seems durable, but light weight. I was glad to have it.

8/01/23 Invested in this product for protection of my pricey UL tent and insulation for pad n sleep. When assembled properly, all modular; all works. Recommend. Practice at home many times. I dont use drawstring carry thing on trail; only for home storage. I fold footprint carefully and stow in pack. Dont take time to put in carry thing and i can squish it into backpack better. Cleans well with shake.

I bought this along with Hornet 1P about 2 years ago. Design is a disaster. The d-loop always come about and I have to use pegs separately to push it down. The size is not adequate to cover the floor of Hornet 1P, tried it many times and failed. I have other tents as well and footprint to tent pegging is never a problem on those ones.

Bought this as a gift for my husband. He loves the compactness and durability. Perfect compliment to the Nemo hornet tent. Great price point.

Supper slick set up. Fasten it in once and just roll it up with the tent. Should really be part of the kit.

After finding a couple of videos on YouTube showing the proper way to attach the footprint to the tent, I had no issues. Logo side is up. Size is perfect for the floor of the tent. So happy I got this to protect my tent and keep my tent floor clean and dry.

I just bought this footprint and used it on my backpack trip this past week. I love the 2 pc tent for one person and have had great luck with it in the Olympics and Cascades, but the footprint is about 5 inches smaller at the head than the tent and about 4 inches shorter than the tent and also narrower at the foot. Is this mistake? Can't be good in the rain.
