I've had one of these for years and just picked another one up for my son. We use them to to carry water when skiing/boarding at the resort. Being flat the fit into a pocket better and lay flat. I've been using mine for 5-6 years and it hasn't leaked yet or cracked after multiple falls and drops. We do silicone the sleeve on for a little better protection and to keep it from falling off when getting it out of a pocket.

Good At Holding Booze, Blue Sleeve Is Infuriating
Bought this to replace a previous GSI flask. Does it's job well, plus the separating cup on the top is useful for measuring out your favorite Adult Beverage. The major drawback is the blue sleeve - it constantly slips on and off of the flask and just makes using it a hassle. I'd throw it away but the inner (clear) flask seems too thin to use without it.

Everything A Flask Should Be
Excellent item, fits my pocket like a glove. Blue sleeve is more like a mitten. Cap is so handy for measuring out rations. Highly recommended for any light hydration need
