Question About Mesurement Of 1. 5l Pot
Hi I was wondering what the precise messurements of the smaller, 1. 5L pot, are, especially the inner diameter, as I want to nest further equippment inside. Best Regards

Needs Another Lid And Handle
Would be rated higher if a lid was included for the smaller pot & 2 handles - only one is supplied with the kit.

Needs A Better Handle System
I recently purchased this MSR 2 pot system and then went on a 2week, 5 state road trip. These posts heat fast and even. These pots are a nice size for car-based/overlanding camping but for 1 to 2 person backpacking they will be too big. The handle is very secure once attached but this lends itself to a problem if you are trying to use both pots to cook. It is difficult to remove and I believe it is unsafe to switch between pots when you have boiling liquid in one. Believe me I tried. Fortunately, I had an old pot grip with me that ended up being my go-to solution. It didn't scratch the cooking surface. I will leave the MSR handle at home next time. The drain holes are a nice gimmick but you have make sure you don't reach across them to remove the lid. You may get scalded by hot steam. (I learned this one quickly). I usually do not cook pasta when camping so this is a useless feature for me. Pearl Couscous is my usual substitution for pasta, and I do not have to drain the water. Overall, these pots are well made and cook well for my needs, but I am disappointed with the handle. I believe the handle is over engineered and too complex to be used safely. Without a backup handle you basically have a one pot system. One more thing. A storage bag would be nice.

Easy Clean-up Group Cooking
Recently used this set to cook for a group of three for a week of skiing in the eastern Sierra. Used with my dragonfly stove to make pasta and sauce, beans and rice, boil water for oatmeal and coffee. Super easy to clean. Only complaint is only having one lid shared between the two pots, but it's easy enough to improvise a second cover for the rare times when you want two

That Is Not What I Expected From Msr Quality
Absolutely disappointing. Pots are great, but not for outdoor usage. They are too fragile, and I am not talking about inside ceramics. This is obvious that you need to be careful with it. Little scratch on outer surface caused, the inside ceramic getting off. I am huge fan of MSR. Windburner and Huba are my companions on almost every single climb or hike, but for those pots - solid no go. Be careful if you don't want to be disappointed. This product will not meet your expectations for outdoor usage.I am sorry to say so, but it is far away from the MSR quality and durability we are used to.
