Good Set Of Utensils. Overall

Good set of utensils. Overall heavier than I expected. I contribute the extra weight more to the case than to the utensils which are light. That being said, I appreciate the case when car camping. Makes it easy to pack and get tucked away. If I use it backpacking will leave the case at home and just take the utensils.

I love the size. The look is great… And every component, included, you’ll use….And, ENJOY USING!!! Get out there, this Summer!! This is my go to, mobile/or minimal camping…(it’s a cool kit!! You’re doing more than boiling bags, hopefully…if not? Your stil covered….) I’ve been waiting, too long , to make this purchase…Glad I don’t wait, when asked to come to the park(the….National parks…wink…..)

Unhappy With The Quality

My knife rusted after the first use, and the pack towel also ripped. I really wanted to like this accessory set, but was very disappointed with the quality.

Great Kit

I really only use this kit when I'm car camping but it is wonderful, love the tiny packed size for everything you get and it makes light cooking much easier and more enjoyable.

Great Set

Awesome components. This is all I need for car camping. The carrying case is thick and protective—even a little bulky. It will fit a few other small kitchen accessories or spices/sauces. It's nice to have everything in one place, especially for car camping. Though, I wouldn't take the case into the backcountry, even on short hikes because of its weight. I just take whatever items I need and put them in a smaller mesh bag. The knife is sharp, so be careful!

Only Mistake Msr Purchase We Have Made

We have many other MSR products we love. This - not so much. Have taken it on two car camping trips and the only piece of the set we will be using ever again is the small knife. I may keep the cutting board around as a back-up, but It's pretty small so we will see how long for. None of the other pieces worked for our usual cooking and washing up needs. The soap bottles clogged. The towel shrank after two washes. The spatula melted on the first use, and the strainer/ grater broke on the first use. The bulky case takes up way too much room in our camp totes, and the zippered compartments are really tough to get things into and out of. The kit seems confused about it's own purpose, as it falls somewhere between backpacking and car camping so does neither well. Just a mistake purchase for us.

It has everything you need as far as utensils, and occupies very little space which is nice. However, it feels pretty cheaply made and is definitely overpriced for what it is.

All the pieces are quality, I like the fact that both the knife and cutting board are large and pretty sturdy. Gonna be big for the ounce counters but perfect for about everything else. The case is well made and there is room in the storage case for other things like Hygene, first aid, or other kitchen items.

Light And Functional

I haven't put this set to the test yet while camping, but am pleased with how sturdy everything seems to be. The whole set is a little bulky but lightweight and ideal for car camping or a shorter trip. I liked that there was room for a few more items in the case (fire starter, utensils, etc.). The case was easy to repack and I'm excited to try it all out in a few weeks.
