Punched Well Above Its Weight.

I’m amazed at the reviews. I’ve had the 5ft version one this rod & reel combo for about a year now. I’ve taken it out on numerous fishing trips and I’ve caught many fish with it. Mostly panfish though. This weekend I brought it on a week long fishing trip and it was going to be my play around rod. The setup must have heard me. I setup the rod and reel for catfishing. And it caught some fish! Two of my personal best fish were landed on this rod & reel. Over the week, I landed a 14.4lb channel catfish and a 10lb blue catfish and numerous 7-8lb or smaller catfish. Equiped with 8lb braided testline it took me over 1.5hrs to land the 14.4lbs catfish on the boat. I was seriously impressed! The fish stripped drag and fought for its life dragging me and the boat around, keeping the rod tipped bent the whole time. The rod and reel handle it like a pro with no issues. The day after, the reel was a little sticky and stiff to reel in, but I’ll service it and see how well it held up internally. I’ve found it to be so well made, I’m ordering another combo, but in the 6ft combo.

Rod Breaks Do Not Buy!!

Son was pulling a little line out to add a new bait and rod snapped. Got another rod and reel combo thinking he was just to rough, didn’t last an hour before the rod snapped in four places. After finding reviews, I see it’s a serious problem.A waste of $100. after

No Worth The Money

I was so excited when I bought this combo but afters two casts the rod got snapped In half. Very upset😡😡
