On my 3rd pair of these pants. Pants fit me so well - better than comparable outdoor brands.

Good product I have 5 pairs of these pants I prefer the AP active over the AP regular

Front pockets are terrible, way too short. Regular length fits like a 30" inseam so they show mad ankle. Knife pocket and seams ruins the front silhouette. A shame since the fabric is great, good flex and durability

Liked the pants. 32 too short, 34 too long, overall kinda baggy fit

As a fan of the original AP pant, I wanted to share that the AP active pant definitely runs smaller. The AP active is smaller in the waist, the legs are shorter and slimmer. Also, these don't have the button-up cuff. The material feels, and is, more synthetic (no cotton in the fabric blend).

Pockets are too shallow and pants are a bit tight material is good though

Bought these for my partner to wear to work where he is indoors/outdoors back and forth in the rain but needs to look professional. They look nice like regular work pants but are way more functional. The fabric is really sturdy but lightweight. The black is super sleek, buying a couple other colors for him. He is a 33x33 so usually in between sizes, 34x32 fits him well. The legs are little wide but that’s the only imperfection. Great pants.

My second pair of these pants. Lightweight, stretchy, wrinkle & abrasion-resistant - they work well as outdoor wear or travel togs. Slim, hiking-pant silhouette, but perfectly presentable in town.

The stitching is terrible on these pants. It is coming out with very little use. I've already returned one pair of these pants and now the other pair is doing the same thing. The quality is going down hill at mountain hardware.

Lightweight and breathable, yet still give adequate protection while walking through light brush. I also love that they don’t feel baggy.

I purchased an older series of these pants a few years ago and they are my go-to hiking pants, but not without some draw backs. The older pair are not quite as flexible, are a more baggy straight legged design and, while comfortable, they tend to bunch up uncomfortably at my hips and bits with my belt. This new series looks and feels like MH fixed all the prior little niggles, and continued to keep them as some of the best hiking pants I’ve ever worn

I previously bought this type of pants a few years ago, and I loved them. I decided to purchase more because they held up well and the fit was good. This round I am less than pleased. 1) The pants are almost an inch shorter than my other ones, despite having ordered the same size. 2) They have a snag after 2 wears. I am a teacher, didn’t even try to hike in them. The other pairs I’ve had for years have zero snags. The new material is inferior and the length sizing is off.

Nice feeling pants, the main issue is that the pockets are so shallow it barely fits a phone.

Great fitting pair of pants. Will be using them to hike in an upcoming trip to Patagonia.

Good trousers for an active lifestyle that can take you anywhere from the clinic to the bush. More durable than most trousers advertised for demanding activities. Thank you MHW
