So I will start by saying they are very comfortable and practical. That being said I bought the pants and shorts at the same time. I wore the pants and found them to be my new favorite pants that I own, taking the place of my OR soft shell light pants. The biggest reason outside of the obvious of them being really comfortable, durable, can wear in hot and cold weather conditions; but the main reason is the cell phone slot on the right side with a snap to keep it securely in the pocket. I was excited about having ordered the shorts but found when I put them on they lacked the cell pocket. These shorts would be perfect as they would compliment the pants if they had that pocket. PLEASE add this pocket!
