Entry Level Worth Upgrading

The Switchback Expert has better frame geometry compared to a Trek Marlin. Up grading the heavy coil spring fork is not a problem with the tapered head tube to a light weight air spring fork will shave 5 lbs. off the bike. The rear wheel hub is a 141mm qr .is a limiting factor. No through axel. You can up grade to a 11 speed on the stock rear wheel. a new rear wheel with a Shimano wh-mt500 hub with microsline free wheel will get you 12 speed. The bike is light and fast and fun to ride. Sale price of $550 is hard to beat.

I bought my bike a week ago, today was the 2nd time i rode it. All was normal when suddenly the rear break broke and i fell down really hard. Im unhappy and very dissapointed because it shouldn't happen, ITS A BRAND NEW BIKE! IM REALLY DISAGREE WITH

This bike was made perfectly and so easy to ride on! It was so exciting to go up and down the trails with ease! With the instruction manual it made it super easy to assemble together and took less than 20 minutes to put together. The only thing is this bike does not have a kickstand but that was so big issue for us.

Awesome Bike.

This item was sent to me by influencer for an honest review so here it is. This Bike is SOOOO easy to put together.. Took me about 30 minutes and all I needed was Tools needed: Box cutter Side snips Philips screwdriver 15 mm wrench 4 mm allen wrench 6 mm allen wrench It looks so good and rides amazing. It’s comfortable. It was packaged well. I LOVE the color. Even my 13 year old son loves it. He said that it’s comfortable for him to ride as well. I would definitely recommend this bike and will most likely be purchasing one for my son.  if you’re thinking about getting this bike, I would say definitely do it. You won’t be disappointed..

Beautiful Bike

Not only is this an awesome mountain bike, it is aesthetically very attractive in color. The set up of this bike was very easy as well as I did not need the manual to figure out where parts went. The only thing I can say about this bike that is negative, is that the seat is not the most comfortable but there are easily ways around that. This is a great bike and I have tested out the riding around the block. I cannot wait to use this in my next trip to Colorado.

Nice Looking Mountain Bike

My husband is really loving this Mongoose mountain bike. He said it was very easy to put together. It’s a nice dark gray color, has a lightweight frame and it’s a very smooth ride. We’re excited to go on more bike rides this year. I must say it is definitely a nice looking bike and it has a great price point.

Mongoose Switchback Expert - Look No Further For A High Quality Mountain /Trail Bike

I am extremely impressed with the Switchback Expert from Mongoose. The frame is very sturdy and has a cool design. I really appreciate the detail that was put into both the appearance and quality of the bike. I am most impressed with the Trail Boss wheels! They are much thicker than the wheels on my old bike and are perfect for trail and mountain biking. I bike on the beach frequently in the warmer months, and these tires can definitely handle the sand! I’ve already taken it out on a few rides and is so smooth and makes me want to keep going! I also tried riding around town and it performed extremely well biking through the city. This is the first time I have assembled a bike by myself, and it was a breeze. The instructions were very intuitive and easy to follow and I was able to assemble it in less than an hour. I can’t wait to explore new trails with this awesome, versatile bike!
